Great place to stay near Split. Modern facilities and newer looking area. Close to beach with great options to eat out.
Only issue which isn't major, was lack of robes and bath towels. To note. This was rectified very quickly by staff when addressed.

We had an amazing stay at amphora. Steps from the beach, 15 minutes to split, and a spacious pool deck - not much else we could ask for!
Though the building is rather new, some facilities are not very well-kept. The pool looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time - there are layers of dirt in the drainage gates, all of the glass needs a good cleaning, and there was lots of garbage left out all day - there was one small trash can, and no one servicing the outdoor area.
Other than that, our stay was fantastic, and I would highly recommend staying at amphora!

We and our adult daughters wanted to stay on the beach and Hotel Amphora was the perfect spot. The hotel is located directly across from the new promonade and is just a short taxi ride into town.

This could be an amazing hotel… but isn’t
Lifts are terrible. The large pool is heated to 32C making it uncomfortable & leaving the small pool for 200 guests.
Pool was green & cloudy. Probably from so many people using one small pool
Staff are generally disinterested and on their phones. Reception staff watched us unload bags and offered zero assistance.
The food is ok in itself, but very limited room service options and menus not provided. You basically have to photograph the menu from the foyer.
Hotel is only 6 years old but poorly maintained. Lights out everywhere. Pool not cleaned properly.
Rooms are great but not cleaned properly. Tea & coffee facilities provided but no cutlery, limited glasses. Towels provided would be the world’s smallest towels.
Not sure if it’s poor management, poorly trained staff or both.
Overall, very underwhelming for how much it cost. Won’t be back.
