Clean, comfortable, quiet, and close to highway. Host had necessaties and communicated well.

Very clean. Nicely appointed. The beds were kind of tall for elderly folks. No grab bars in the bathrooms.

Property was well maintained and suited two couples perfectly. No complaints about anything.

Great property! We were in town for 6 days of basketball in Louisville and to visit friends in Lexington. The property has easy access to the highways. There is grocery store close by and has plenty of places to eat within a short drive. There are a few distilleries close by too. We even drove to Indiana one night to meet friends at a brewery. The host was great! Very quick to respond! I would stay here again.

We stayed here, as it was mid way between the many different distilleries we visited in our three day stay. The facility was clean, a perfect size for my wife and I, and my sister and brother-in-law. It had all the necessities for out stay, and was so very comfortable. The communication with Katie was the best communication between host and our party I have ever had with any vrbo host. She seemed so intent to make sure all was right with the condo, and that we were comfortable. I would stay here again in an instant. And we just might, next summer.

Accomodations were perfect for our road trip to all the distilleries. We visited 10 Distilleries from our location at Christopher Crossing without any problems at all. Katies place was excellent and she was very easy to communicate with 😁

Our stay was wonderful

This was absolutely perfect for our weekend in KY. Condo was clean and exactly as described. The King bedroom even had king sized pillows. That may seem like a small item, but that is a really good thing. It was perfectly located for all the things we were planning on for the weekend. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Wonderful place to stay close to everything on the bourbon tour! We rented two of Katie’s properties, right close to each other…. She is a wealth of knowledge and a great person! Our family has a fantastic time! Hoping to return sometime in the near future!!

The condo slept four. It was comfortable and clean. The hostess graciously gave us some ideas of things to do in the area. The neighborhood was quiet. Location was great. We couldn't have been happier. I left my eyeglasses. The hostess is mailing those to me. The only reason we wouldn't stay there again next year is if we have five sisters going to KY. This condo sleeps four.

The unit was conveniently located, and the surrounding trees provided a sense of privacy. There is a road not far from the small balcony which could be heard while outside but was not too distracting. The breeze and bird songs were enjoyable, and the balcony quickly became my favorite spot for reading and enjoying a cup of coffee. Katie was cheerful and quick to respond when we needed extra washcloths.

We stayed here with my wife and I and my cousin and her husband. Place was very clean and location was great. Shelbyville is a great town and it was only 30 minute drive (easy ride) to Churchill downs. We would recommend staying here for sure!

Good place to use when Visiting Shelbyville. When down stairs occupent is cooking, the odors filter up to 1003.

This was a great size for the 4 of us. Good communication w host… We were impressed: The DVD was broken and when we mentioned this to the host, a new one showed up on our doorstep the very next day! She also purchased a crockpot when we inquired about one. We are confident that the furnace fan’s clanking and full-size bed mattress’ squeaking springs will be addressed so the next guests may get a good night’s sleep. You may want to consider bringing ziplock & garbage bags, foil, cling wrap, dish cloth, etc. As these things are not on site. This little place was clean, warm and comfortable. We found it to be pretty central for touring Bourbon distilleries. A grocery store and gas station with decent prices are close by. It’s easy on/off the freeway. 👍🏼

We had a great week long stay here and hit both music festivals in Louisville each weekend. It's a bit of a ways out of Louisville, but it was a great price, and we knew how far we would be and didn't mind. Shelbyville is a great little town nearby and the people are friendly in the area. It was actually a nice proximity to Louisville, Frankfort, and Lexington, all three of which we spent some time on this stay. Katy was wonderful and was always willing to help and be on call if we needed anything. Thanks so much, and hopefully will be staying here on the next visit to KY as well!

We had a great stay at this property! It perfectly suited 2 couples. I can’t imagine what else we could have wanted. We will be visitors!

My wife, father and I stayed three nights. - Pre-arrival coordination was excellent. Katie messaged me the access code to the door the morning of our arrival. - We arrived around 4pm; the property was very clean upon arrival. - WiFi connectivity was weak and frequently interrupted; the TV has antenna capabilities so TV is available when WiFi is unavailable. - The stove and oven worked great. We baked pork chops one evening for dinner, while baking chicken breasts another. We made pancakes, eggs, and/or bacon every morning. There is only one skillet, so we baked the bacon while using skillet for eggs or pancakes. The kitchen otherwise has sufficient plates, utensils, and glassware. - The refrigerator is large and handled all our needs; the freezer has an ice maker. Kentucky water is great! - The property has a small balcony with two chairs – great location for evening relaxation. - The master bedroom has its own dedicated bathroom and a very comfortable king bed. My father has a medical condition that necessitated he sleep on the couch – he said it too was comfortable. - The central air worked great – particularly important since it was in the mid-90s when we arrived. - We didn’t use the clothes washer or dryer, or the dishwasher. - We used the L-shaped counter adjacent to the stove/oven to play cribbage and UNO after dinner – the counter comfortably allows three of the four barstool-like chairs to be used at it. - There was a charcoal grill outside the door of the unit beneath upstairs we rented – we weren’t sure if that was available for use or not, so we just used the stove/oven for cooking. - The location of the property serves as a great hub to spoke out from. My wife, father, and I visited a total of seven distilleries over four days in Louisville, Lexington, Bardstown, Clermont, Lawrenceburg, and Versailles. Lawrenceburg may have been a bit more centrally-located, but this property was much nicer than any others we found available for the dates needed. - Checkout instructions were clear and easy to accommodate. My wife, father, and I had a great time at this property. We would definitely stay here again!

Great communication from owner. Clean house. It's our home away from home when we go to Kentucky!

This is a great property for enjoying Kentucky. We were equidistant from Louisville and Lexington and got to enjoy both cities. Katie was super responsive and helpful when we needed it.

Has what you need. It was very quiet which was important to us. Close to stores.

Katie the property manager was great. The house is an over/under duplex. This unit is on top and the other unit is underneath. Master bed and bath are large. Second bedroom has what I think is a "full" size mattress which is smaller than a queen but quite comfy for my wife and I (I am 6 feet tall). All appliances are in great shape and the place really is clean and shiny. It is in a quiet area just off the main drag. Nice location for bourbon trail. Ark Encouter was within an hour. I would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was clean and inviting. Beds and pillows were very nice. The only thing that needs improvement is the internet. Fabulous place to stay.
