It was a cute place. The manager and cleaning staff were great. Had one issue and they corrected it within 30 minutes. There really is no patio. But overall i would definitely recommend others to stay there.

The location was easy to get to, and perfect for the distilleries we wanyed to see. Didnt have to be in the city hassle.

So grateful for the opportunity to stay in an accessible apartment where my wheelchair bound son could have his own space and get around easily. We were able to accommodate a shower and the beds were low enough he could easily transfer. Thank you for saving us from a one room hotel!!

Our host was welcoming and extremely helpful! She quickly responded if we had any questions and the check out process was simple! The beds were extremely comfortable and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We especially appreciated that the parking is right at the door since it was raining for the majority of our time there. We definitely recommend this property. Thank you!

This was a great place to go back to each night and sleep. Very close to Kroger and very close to bourbon distillery’s. And not too far of a drive to Bardstown for other groups of distilleries. The only thing I would have like to have different was a more of a lounge couch. We came back Saturday evening to watch football game and the couches just weren’t what we were hoping for. Other than that, great place to stay.

The little home was absolutely wonderful. The host has everything in the place and more. It was so quiet in the neighborhood and all the neighbors were absolutely wonderful people. We came down for our 1 year anniversary , and to get away from our kids(lol), and were blown away at what a comfortable place it was. The house is minutes away from almost everything and 30 minutes from everything else. The host was so nice and always answered when we had questions. We will be returning, hopefully to the same house. I recommend if you appreciate a very beautifully decorated and quiet area to stay. You will not be disappointed. I cannot thank the host enough for such a wonderful stay.

This was a great place for us to stay while we visited the distilleries and a visited a couple historical places. It’s tucked away off the beaten path so it was quiet. It was also very clean and the host was always quick to respond when needed.

Aside from being a very good place to stay, the part of our trip that made the whole experience stand out was our host, Katie. Kind, welcoming, tons of communication, and always willing to help in any way possible. The accommodations themselves were nothing to shake a stick at. Two beds and two whole BATHs. Very rare. Plus, the primary had a king size bed!! Also, pretty rare in a world of queen size beds. Big living room and a serviceable kitchen with a full size washer and dryer. Even had cable tv, so no Fire Stick necessary. The location was a bit remote. However, it was close to many distilleries (the reason to be in the part of Kentucky after all) and still close enough to Louisville. Lose enough to the Interstate to easily move about. The area felt safe even late at night. A+ stay!

My dad and I were attending my sister’s wedding and this place was awesome! Conveniently off the main road, but very close to gas and groceries. Both bedrooms are well furnished with tables by the bed and easily accessible outlets to charge our phones.

I'm a bit conflicted about leaving a review, as it is not for the property shown here, but is for a very similar property by the same owner. We had originally reserved this property, but on the day of check-in the owner contacted us and said that our reserved unit was not available, and she put us in a different unit. This unit was in the same general location (shared parking lot), and was the same basic layout as our original unit -- same number of bedrooms, baths, etc. The unit we stayed in was very nice. It was very clean and well-kept. It was comfortable, and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Communication with owner was simple and quick. I would not hesitate to rent from this owner again, if we are in the area again. We may not have stayed in the exact unit we reserved, but I do understand that things happen and everything worked out well.

Super clean, great communication, nicely updated. Good location for access to Bourbon Trail activities. It is a downstairs apartment. Neighbors upstairs were pretty noisy late one night but it didn't last long and wasn't a problem the rest of the stay. Very comfortable place to stay! We would come back for sure if needing a place in the area.

The place was clean and had all required amenities, which was exactly what we were looking for. If you are looking for The Ritz, then you may want to look elsewhere. However, for a great two bedroom/two bath place to rest, play games and chill after a days activities with a set of friends, this hit the mark. And you cannot beat the price. Owner was prompt on responses and very nice. The place is probably better suited for adults than kids as there is a room directly above, there is little in the immediate area to provide entertainment, and the road (while appearing to be a lesser traveled road) is a direct route to the Bulliett Distillery around 5 miles down the road so it does have some traffic. Overall, HIGHLY recommended for a place for two adult couples to end the day after taking in what Kentucky has to offer. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay. This property is a perfect location for the bourbon trail. It is just a short 30 minute drive to Louisville and Lexington. Bardstown is a bit further at nearly an hour. However, if you are visiting distilleries along the way there and stopping for dinner on the way back the drive is pleasant. A grocery store is very close. Downtown Shelbyville is less than a mile away with wonderful shops and dining. Enjoy your stay at this property. We will definitely consider staying at this property again.

Great Rental with Awesome Managers

There were some inconveniences upon arrival to the rental (to no fault of the owners/managers) and the staff went out of their way to make everything right! Very friendly and accommodating people. The apartments they rent out seem to be very well maintained and are very comfortable and in what seems to be a nice neighborhood. If we are ever back in Shelbyville, KY we wouldn't hesitate to rent out one of their apartments again. It is a bonus that the distance to Louisville is not too bad and there are several other attractions within a couple hours of driving that made this property even more appealing.
