Communication with owner was great! Super helpful and super easy to check in and out. Very well stocked with amenities really only needed to bring food, clothes and personal hygiene items. Only downside was the odor outside, smelled of something dead. I can’t hold that against Diamond Vacation Rentals. I would definitely stay there in the future.

Stayed here for two nights to visit the diamond mine. Host provided 2 shovels, 3 buckets, 1 trowell and a small crate of sifters (you'll need to carry it or have your own wagon/cart). Refrigerator had ice trays that you can fill. House is stocked with dishes and pans as well as dry coffee. Bathroom had towels. Master Bedroom and living room have smart TVs, Family bedroom has a CRT with DVD player.House is old (at least 40 years, probably older) and a little musty, but had a cozy country feel. The kids caught fireflies out in the front yard (I haven't seen fireflies in years). It also has an old storm cellar in the back yard (never seen one before). Beds were also old pretty creeky, but clean.Enjoyed our stay. Would choose it again if back in the area.

My sisters and I spent a wonderful, relaxing few days at the Kimberlite house. It was roomy, clean, and comfortable. The town was quaint, cute, interesting and people were friendly. We enjoyed it tremendously. The stay was perfect.

It was a nice stay. The neighborhood was peaceful. I will say the house had a smell to it. The kids room had an older tv and not many choices of DVDs for them to watch. Our room did not have a tv so that was kinda a bummer for us. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. It was very close to crater of diamonds.

We enjoyed our stay. It was very comfortable and we enjoyed the front porch. Your guidelines were easy to follow. There were ants in the kitchen, and no liquid soap in the bathroom. This was our first time coming to Murfreesboro and the stay was amazing. It was clean, quiet, and close to all the things we wanted to see while here. We brought our dogs and there was plenty of space for them and their crates. Also they have tons of tools to take witb you to tbe diamond mine. We can't wait to come back and visit again.

The house suited our needs exactly. It feels more spacious than a two bedroom. The carport helps tremendously to keep your vehicle cooler. It was well equipped and supplied. A little fenced-in space for pets would be nice.

The property is dated, but it seems to compare favorably to the other properties in town. The beds were very comfortable. The location was clean. The proprietor was quick to respond and solve a minor issue we had and tried hard to please. No signs of any insects (that I saw in other reviews). It is so close to Crater of Diamonds and to town. The house was huge with so much room for our dogs. I absolutely loved there was only carpet in the master bedroom. Everything we needed was provided. So close to the Diamond mine and easy day trips to other sites. The host was one of the most helpful and friendly we have ever had on our numerous vacations. We had a wonderful time and this house is in the most beautiful neighborhood. We had our dogs with us and they had plenty of room both in front and back yards. The house is just right down the road from the Crater of Diamonds which is a must do I recommend going to the Rock shop next to and accross from the hardware store to learn how to look for diamonds they are the most wonderful people. You should also stop and get a snow cone they have every flavor the little town is awesome we really liked it there and plan on coming back. Ps Tim has everything you need at the house for mining diamonds. Thank you for sharing your home

This was my 8th stay at the property over several years (and I will stay there again). It is no Ritz-Carlton but fully meets our needs and the location could not be better. You can easily come back to the house from the Crater of Diamonds and enjoy a relaxing lunch then return to hunt diamonds again in the afternoon. Owner is very responsive to any needs/issues that arise.

The Hughes were very great people, they even had a cable line already set for my little dog. The house was filled with lots of stuff such as extra coffee pots (very important), and mining equipment. Also, the house location was great, very close to everything.
