The hosts could not have been more friendly or benevolent. The location is perfect. Outside seating was a huge bonus. Free breakfast was valued and welcomed. The attached restaurant Akrogiali serves incredible food and the staff are the hardest working and most friendly I have experienced. A special shout out to Manuelos. Recommended visits from Kato Zakros: Xerocampos and Chiona for sandy beaches. Recommend to book a table at Hiona seafood restaurant at Chiona. Minoan palace and Gorge of the dead in Kato Zakros itself, coffee in Ano Zakros, Sitia, Toplou monastery for wine tasting, Voila and Etia for cultural ruins but mainly just soak up the wonderful area you are staying in. Perfect for total relaxation and we can't wait to book again for our 30th wedding anniversary.
There is nothing not to like. The room is exactly as shown in the photos on the website.
