Lovely cozy wee dog friendly place, easy to park and get too. Everything you was available and hosts easy to contact if anything was needed, not that we needed anything. Prefect wee stay.

Cosy, quiet and excellent set up overall

Clean & excellent facilities for a tiny hut - great kitchen, bathrooms brand new, beautifully put together and thoughtfully organised. Quiet and communication from the host was great also.

My only complaint was the firmness of the bed. My husband & son were fine as they sleep on their backs/stomachs, but for me as a side sleeper it was much too hard and uncomfortable, even with an added camping mat. Otherwise, it would have been perfect!

Perfect little holiday getaway. Been up a few times now and will be back again.

We hired 3 pods for a group family vacation and all 3 pods were extremely clean and well maintained. We had our beds that we requested to have lining and they were all made on arrival. Came with toilet roll and cleaning things for dishes etc.

So peaceful Loved the unique experience Lots of little things considered and especially liked the honesty cabin with the extra bits and pieces that could be borrowed or bought. Great instructions and communications before and during the stay.

Glad we had extra bedding with us to lie on as beds were extremely firm. I prefer that to being too soft, though.

First Timers Glapping Experience

First experience glamping as we do not like camping. This was great because we had electric stove top and all the gear to cook for ourselves which we prefer. It was a little warm but opening the windows soon brought to cool Scottish airin to make it very comfortable. We closed up the pod and slept well. Thanks Karen for all your help with linnen and local knowledge. Also, this was very private even being close to the other pods.

There was a bit of a hiccup as ee are not from this country so had no linnen with us. Karen soon sorted this out for us for an additional fee. That made it all perfect for the one night stay we had.

Ticked every box for us! Spotlessly clean, with great facilities, peaceful and thankfully the rain stayed off so we could use the fire pit. The Glamping pod has everything in it and electricity is included in the price. Don't be fooled by how small it looks from the outside as it's very spacious inside and im standing at quite a hefty 6ft 7. Would highly recommend to anyone going glamping to come to Macbeth's Hillock. They're head and shoulders above any glamping site in this area especially for the facilities you get at this price. 11/10 👍

Beautiful dog friendly stay just outside Inverness

The little huts were great and much warmer than anticipated. There were two of us and 2 dogs and we were comfortable in the space. We didn't use it, but it was a lovely little touch to have a TV available and the firepits outside. The location is beautiful, great for watching the sheep with your morning coffee and only a short drive into Forres, Nairn or Inverness. Karen was really friendly and welcoming, checking we'd arrived safely and saying hello when in and around the huts. Was great to find a dog friendly location too!

Small but perfectly formed. Everything you need for a stay away.

Not a fan of the mattress but you take that chance and as I think someone else said. It’s better than the floor. If you prefer a softer mattress take something extra to sleep on. I’ll take an extra duvet next time

What an amazing place,the views were amazing,so peaceful too special time to go if you like the farming life with sheep and lambs all around and chirping of the birds o and the odd rabbit running over the field.comfortable and very clean pod.The fire pit was amazing.Had it burning both nights.a hot tub would be a added bonus ☺️

Relaxing

The peace and quiet with only noises from the sheep and birds. The weather was good at the time .Nobody bothered us.It even has a sand pit for kids to play in

Exceptional

Everything was absolutely perfect! Easy access to the site from the main road. The place is very peaceful, with greenery all around. There are sheep on the fields around the site. Each pod has its own picnic table and a bbq. The pods are very well equipped (tv, wifi, toaster etc) and extremely clean! It's actually amazing how well organised these pods are considering how small they are. We travelled in a group of 4 and it was a bit of a squeeze especially when it came to sleeping but we spent most of the time outside so the lack of space didn't really bother us. Great value for money, self check in and dog friendly too!

Lack of bedding, however it does mention it when you book the accommodation so we just brought our sleeping bags :)

Fantastic holiday

Karen was a wonderful host. Really friendly & nothing seemed too much trouble. The kids had so much fun running around outside and enjoying the cabin. A wonderfully peaceful spot too. I'd highly recommend a stay here.
