This property was an absolute best! It matched the photos exactly, had plenty of room, extra bedding provided, and individual AC units in each room — a huge plus in the summer heat. The sofa bed was huge and genuinely comfortable. The design throughout the apartment was beautiful — an unusual bookshelf, striking wallpaper, and matching frames and floral touches that all tied together perfectly. They also had a wonderful home library, more than enough to keep us entertained over the 6 nights. The host was wonderfully responsive and sent detailed access instructions and step-by-step guidance for the area days ahead of time, with assistance offered at every step along the way. We felt completely safe and comfortable throughout our stay, and the location was excellent. A small but lovely touch: the host left coffee, sugar, and a mocca pot in the apartment — it might sound minor, but it genuinely saved our mornings a couple of times before we made it out to a café!

Our only complaint is that we only had 6 nights here — nowhere near enough time to enjoy Florence, this beautiful property, or explore the rest of Tuscany from such a great base. We loved this place and cannot wait to come back, hopefully sooner rather than later!

The apartment is centrally located in Florence, with major attractions within walking distance. The apartment itself is well-equipped with everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. We traveled with a 1-year-old and appreciated that the cot was delivered exactly on time upon our arrival. The washing machine was a practical bonus. The area has a lively nightlife atmosphere, which we actually enjoyed from the comfort of the apartment with the window open.

The city tax could not be paid by card and we were asked to pay in cash. The apartment has no TV, and the stairs leading to the apartment are quite narrow, which made managing a stroller difficult.
