For the same price (or cheaper) than some hostels in the area, Ali hostel is able to offer a private room which is clean and well-ventilated. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful and would go out of his way to ensure I was comfortable and happy with every aspect of my stay. There is also a terrace on the second floor which has a great view of the city, and it’s location (perched on a small street) alongside a major throughway is quiet but close to the action.

Good hostel, clean, nice staff, breakfast included, great rooftop. WiFi was slow but this is everywhere in Vietnam. Eeverything else was good - I recommend it!

The room wasn't the room that I order. When I can to the reception to ask why she said that she doesn't have the room the shouted at me to take my money and leave (for no reason, I just came to ask her).
So the room was way worst then the picture, it was old, the curtains were transparent and for the upper there was nothing above so the curtains were useless.
The shower was dirty, and the hot water just stopped at some point (every time I took a shower).
Besides that, you have to pay for the towel even though in the room reservation it's written that it's included.
The room also doesn't contain a fan, just a completely different room.
