Gulf-Front Estate Cottage, Newly Renovated, w/ Private Beach, Pool, Dog-Friendly

The Space — It's a laid back setting. The cottage sits separate from the main house on a 1.5-acre Gulf-front estate on Siesta Key. It's newly renovated, light and airy, with cathedral ceilings and sliding doors that overlook the pool. One bedroom w/ queen bed, living room, eat-in kitchen, and your own washer and dryer.

Beach - The cottage sits back from the water. There maybe no direct water view, but the walk to the sand is part of the experience: a brick path winds beneath 100-plus-year-old oaks and palms (it's about 150 feet or a 30-second stroll). The main house sits elevated above the path, so you walk through a private stretch of grounds the whole way down and never pass anyone's windows.

Pool and Gulf — You share the pool and the beach only with the owners, who rarely use them. In reality, you'll have both to yourselves most or all of the time. In all the years of hosting, guests have consistently described it as feeling like their own private stretch of sand. The tide sets how much sand you'll find at the water's edge.

Dog-Friendly — Your dog is welcome to explore the lawn, gardens and brick paths with you. The grounds aren't fenced, so we leave leash use to your discretion. You know your dog best.

Linens — All linens (sheets, towels, the mattress cover, and even the comforter) are laundered on a three-hour sanitize cycle before you arrive. We do this after every guest.

The Gulf is generally calm and clear, and it's common to spot dolphins, manatees, and schools of fish right from the shoreline, along with sunsets that make the walk down worth it every evening. Siesta Key Village is about a mile away, and the public beach is 1.5 miles down the road.
