Apartments River Una 3

The apartment was very clean, quiet and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom was clean, and there was plenty of parking space directly next to the apartments. The air conditioning also worked very well, which was especially important during the hot summer days. A special mention should go to the host, who was extremely kind, helpful and always available whenever we had a question or needed assistance. This made our stay even more enjoyable.

There is, however, one very important point for guests arriving by car: do not rely completely on Google Maps for the initial route to the property. On our first attempt, Google Maps took us onto an unpaved road that eventually led to a dead end. On our second attempt, it again directed us along a poor unpaved road before we finally reached the property. There is a good, fully paved route to the apartments, but Google Maps did not initially direct us that way. The host told us that he had already tried to get the route corrected on Google Maps, but unfortunately the problem still existed during our stay. I would strongly recommend that future guests ask the host for the correct paved route before arriving. Another small point concerns mosquitoes, especially in the evening. It was better not to leave the doors or windows open. The air conditioning meant that this was not a problem for the room temperature, but mosquito repellent was useful at night. The host kindly lent us some on the first night until we could buy our own the following day. One possible improvement would be to add an extractor fan in the bathroom or an insect screen to the bathroom window, as opening the window in the evening can let mosquitoes in.

We only had 1 night to spend and chose to stay @ Apartments River Una 3. We were extremely pleased with the level of communication, empathy, professionalism and generally being very kind to us because we were extremely late in check in. The host never said anything in any manner except for our concerns and were indeed very very hospitable. The place is very nice and clean, not very modern but clean and has appropriate facilities. The only downside is that it's location is quite deep and off the main roads. But I guess everyone has a rental car so will be able to have no issues but if no car then this would be extremely difficult. However I thoroughly recommend it and appreciate the friendly staff.
