Octavio was a great host, very friendly, and informative, providing lots of historical information and giving lots of great tips and ideas on what to do in the city. Before arrival he'd provided all the necessary information for getting into the flat since he was unable to be present at that time, but after that he was present to chat regularly. Breakfasts were Mexican and very filling. Octavio didn't want us to go hungry. We had a great time and we definitely felt we'd had a more authentic stay and not just been a booking reference. Remember this is Octavios home, not a hotel.

The room was noisy at night, so light sleepers need to bring earplugs.

Great location. Octavio’s Mexican breakfast was really good.

It is a new listing a some kinks need to be worked out (see below). The proprietor was helpful in some regards and made sure that i can easily and inexpensively reach the place and provided good explanation on how to unlock the place and get to the unit (a room) in the apartment with other guests.

There was no breakfast to speak of. When I asked for eggs that were sitting in the fridge I was told "no". The description of the place does not mention that it is a fourth floor walk up, which may present problems for some guests. I had to wait for 20 mins for someone to open the front door to the building since the numbered lock was not accessible to my average height. The price was excessive for this place.
