All-in-all a lovely place, an ideal chateau quite near (5-10km) from one of the largest ski reserves
The hosts were very kind, the location was remote and quiet, the rooms spacious, the kitchen and dining area cosy and the utensils and kitchen appliances modern and stylish. Sauna and tiled stove were great-to-have amenities. All-in-all a lovely place.
Nothing, although it would have been great to have a 3rd bathroom (for 3 families), but we managed just fine.

Exceptional
Location was great for our needs - it was dead end road, so very safe for kids (using the road as a race track for scooters). It was located remotely, so our kids noise didn't annoy anyone. Getznehof is completely renovated with wonderful NEW furniture made out of old "damaged" wood - it makes great spirit of an old house. Beds were very comfortable - not too soft, not too hard. Kitchen was great, with enough cups, glasses, plates etc for our big group. There are two dishwashers in the kitchen, which is very handy. Don't worry about nearby train rails - it is very quiet. The hosts, Christoph and Monika were very nice and supportive, so as to make sure we fully enjoy our stay.
Some of the bunk beds are not suitable for small children - I would expect a bit higher "side wall" making sleeper safe from falling. No washing machine after Covid days - they moved it to basement to handle more washing. But It was easy to ask Monica to wash what was needed. Children playground could be a bit better - now there is only a swing, the slide is missing. There were troubles with internet connection, but there is great coverage of LTE signal from Hohe Salve.

Incredible house in an amazing location - perfect for groups!
Incredible old farmhouse perfectly renovated in a really quiet location in the middle of the mountains, by a river in which you can swim in the summer. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly! We were a large group and the house was spacious enough to accommodate all! We will make this an annual trip!

Beautifully restored farm house in nature setting
Monika & Christoph have done an amazing job restoring, refurbishing and modernizing Monika’s childhood place. The quality of the materials used, the attention to detail, the beautiful iron work by their cousin all over the house, the hand-built wooden beds and great mattresses, the sauna incorporated into one of the bath rooms, the big kitchen table for everyone to meet, the fire places in the kitchen and living room to bring in extra heat and the amazing view over the valley up to the Hohe Salve peak - all allow for a peaceful, enjoyable and relaxing stay.
The house is not perfectly isolated, so the central heating needs manual topping up via the two fire places in winter. The house is located in the Windau valley, quite remotely. A car is needed to get to the ski areas or to do grocery shopping. No ski bus stop is close by.

Super Aufenthalt in Tirol, für Gruppen perfekt!
Es handelt sich um ein altes Bauerhaus, welches sehr schön und mit Stil renoviert wurde. Die Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Alle nöitigen Gerätschaften und Utensilien sind vorhanden. Der grosse Esstisch bildet das Zentrum. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber ausreichend und mit bequemen Betten ausgestattet. Die Badezimmer / Sauna sind geräumig und hell. Wir waren eine Gruppe vom 9 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern und das Haus bot genügend Platz für alle.
Es war eigentlich ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Nur die Tatsache, dass im Hinterhaus eine Canyoning-Firma ihr Lager hat, trübte das Ganze etwas, weil die Ruhe nicht ganz so vorhanden war, wie es auf den Bildern den Eindruck erweckt.

Wir hatten erneut einen super Aufenthalt!
Die Unterkunft ist genial und die Vermieterin sehr freundlich, verbindlich und hilfsbereit. Toll für Gruppen oder mehrere Familien. Die Sauna ist ein Highlight und auch die toll ausgestattete Küche. Ausstattung insgesamt ist sehr gut - hochwertige Betten, Materialien und Küchengeräte. Die Natur ums Haus ist herrlich und man ist fast in Alleinlage. Wir waren zum zweiten Mal hier und werden wiederkommen.
