The Garden Villa was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for an overnight stay or a few days. There is a kitchenette with coffee machine, toaster and a Zenith water tap. Well appointed linens and furnishings. There is also a parking space onsite and a hot spa if needed. The location is very good as it is close to Taupō,
Wairakei Golf Club, Craters of the Moon, and Huka Falls. Our host Ian was very attentive, friendly and welcoming. If travelling to Taupō and region, The Retreat Luxury Garden Villa is the place to stay.

The host is friendly and easy to communicate with us. Everything is explained clearly and patiently. The place is clean and modern. The bed is comfortable. Perfectly for a couple to stay. Location is good and only about 5 minutes' drive to Taupo town center, while tuck away from the noise of city life.
