Perfect stay for 2 couples

Gianluca was waiting for us at the parking to give us the keys and show us the house. He also kept a parking spot for our car. He helped us with everything we needed and answered all our questions. The house was very clean and exactly as shown on the pictures. Big bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, very comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen and nice living room. Very close to everything. Lucca is a hidden gem in Tuscany area and if we get back, we will certainly stay again at Vicolo del Geppone. Thank you for an amazing stay.

The only negative being in the center of everything, is that it might get a bit noisy at night. But it didn't bother us at all.

Amazing, spacious, great location, highly recommend!

Great location on the north side of Lucca. Huge 2BR for a great rate. Historic building but beautifully renovated inside with full kitchen, gorgeous bathrooms, and even a washing machine. Our host was warm and welcoming!

Amazing location. After exploring Lucca we realized how lucky we were. Close to local bars and restaurants, shopping streets, and the famous squares. The apartment is also stunning. Comfortable beds and recently remodeled.

Perfect apartment in a perfect city

The apartment is perfect, has absolutely everything you need for a relaxed and comfortable stay. It has been lovingly restored and refurbished. The bed was so comfy and the kitchen had everything too. It was also spotlessly clean. Gianluca was fantastic and helpful at check in. We adore Lucca and this is so well situated inside the city walls and near bike hire. When we visit again we'll be happy to book this place again. Thank you for a lovely stay

Exceptional

The Vicolo del Geppone actually exceeded each of our expectations (group of 3). Check in was straightforward and quickly arranged with the owner. The location of the apartment in Lucca is excellent. It is easy to get to despite the surrounding ZTL zone (parking for cars is 50-80m away (bluezone) and you are right in the beautiful old town of Lucca not far from all the sights. The apartment itself is fully equipped (including a full set of kitchen appliances, airconditioning, hairdryer, TV + Netflix, etc.), is in the very best renovated condition and the cleanliness is second to none. We were particularly impressed by the attention to detail, including the exposed brickwalls, the choice of tiles in the bathrooms, but also the integration of a modern kitchen into the overall concept. On the next trip to Lucca I/We would prefer this accommodation to any hotel and can really recommend it without hesitation.

Unbelievable…

I usually don’t prefer to talk about an apartment with exaggerated and enthusiastic words but this place deserved to be estimated this way. The whole apartment clean and comfortable, the bedrooms are large with separated bathrooms. The kitchen is more than well equipped, people feel desire to cook something even if they are not a chef. The living room spacious and comfortable. All I can say is the whole apartment has got a really nice, exquisite and neat atmosphere and style as well. The location: better than we expected. Close to the Wall, with parking opportunities, in the heart of the old town part of Lucca. Although the city is alive with nightlife the apartment is quiet and peacefully. Last words: air conditioning system is a blessing there. We absolutely recommend +++

Despite above check in problems, it was a very good stay in Lucca.

It was a Well designed, comfortable and attractive apartment.

The confusion over the incorrect address as shown on all the documentation led to delays & stress related to the stay. The address stated did not exist as an apartment & the actual apartment which we were eventually taken to by the proprietor was 200 metres away with another street address.

Gianluca e’ simpaticissimo, davvero sul pezzo con tutto; Ci ha aiutati a sistemarci e si e’ reso disponibile fin da subi

L’appartamento e’ stato recentemente ristrutturato ed e’ bellissimo, spazioso e curato al dettaglio, la cucina e’ stupenda e dotata di tutto ( bollitore, macchina del caffè con cialde omaggio per esempio) ogni stanza ha il suo bagno e condizionatore. L’appartamento inoltre si trova una posizione fantastica ed e’ circondato da bei locali come bar dove fare colazione o ristoranti dove si mangia bene e un alimentari super fornito per fare la spesa.
