After a very annoying start we did have a pleasant stay but we might be a little wary of apartments in future. This was

The location was good and very convenient for a city- based stay.

We arrived by train and walked from the station. It was raining and we found Piazza Napoleone but couldn’t find the apartment . Turns out two other squares are adjacent to piazza Napoleone and we wasted a lot of time finding the wrong no. 11 all the time getting very wet. Local businesses were no help either. When we finally reached the door we couldn’t work out the access instructions and so phoned the number for help which was not answered. We eventually got in because some other residents arrived and let us in to the building.

Amazing location and a beautifully appointed room.

A clean and tidy room in the centre of Lucca. It was booked at short notice and it did not disappoint. The entry system is a litle convoluted but once in there was no problem. The room was amazing and well situated - right in the heart of the city. Easy access. The room had a common kitchen area with all the kitchen utilities you would expect. We only stayed one night, but were not disappointed.

Great stay in Lucca in a gorgeous accommodation

Such a gorgeous room, well appointed, clean, very comfortable. The self check in seemed very complicated as we read through the multiple steps, but it ended up just fine. Lucca is a beautiful place and we wished we had booked more time. We parked in Parcheggio Citadella and it was a quick and easy walk to the room.

Location is excellent, the apartment is nicely decorated and comfortable, bed, air-con, bathroom are good.

It can be a bit noisy outside (problem solved with earplugs). No elevator and no parking within the property (to bear in mind). Check in is also not the easiest.

Great location, perfect for families with shared living room

Centrally located, with spacious rooms – perfect for families, each bedroom has its own bathroom.

There was a slight dusty smell in the room; it would be helpful to have disposable slippers. The bed was a bit worn and overly soft, and the sofa was in need of cleaning.

A beautful place in a very amazing little town. Probably my wife's favorite place!

The location overlooked the main piazza. The cycle race was in process so we felt like we had a front-row seat. The hostess had great information for us. When I asked a question she would respond with a link that provided all the information you needed. She had very helpful custom literature available which was great. We liked sitting at the window and overlooking the square. Everything was very clean and very nicely furnished. The shared kitchenette and living room area was very nice and well equipped. We only saw one other couple. It was a great stay and we could have enjoyed being there several days.

The WIFI was weak further into the room but the hostess said they would be looking into that and improving it if possible. Once we got connected were able to retain a connection and accomplish what we needed. Out in the shared space it was fine.

Enjoyed but be aware of shared lounge

Failed to notice the apartment was a suite until booked. As did the guest in other suite he was very surprised when we walked in . At present there is scaffold outside compromising privacy with occasional builders walking past windows. The square in front is undergoing renovation and fenced off. The suite itself is very nice and central.

The amenities are great, very nice facilities and renovation.

The square outside was very loud until 2am. The windows have no soundproofing at all and I was kept awake by loud music. The stay was very overpriced as you have to share the living room, kitchen and dining room.

Loved the apartment and loved Lucca! We wish we had longer to stay and explore.

Wonderful location. Our room had a view of the square, with nice windows that we could open for the sights and sounds. Very high quality adaptation of a historic building. Anwar, our host, was very helpful. We left an item in the apartment when we checked out - he went out of his way to help find it and return it to us. Thanks Anwar!

Check-in was a bit chaotic - we were given the wrong key. But it was worked out fairly quickly, and Anwar brought us a bottle of Chianti for our troubles!

Il riscaldamento non ha funzionato per tutta la durata del soggiorno sia in camera che nelle parti comuni di cui non abbiamo potuto usufruire, si precisa che non funzionava nè il riscaldamento a pavimento ( che era ghiacciato) nè la pompa di calore che, seppur accesa produceva aria non idonea a riscaldare. le parti comuni erano composte da soggiorno, cucina e tavolo da pranzo, la camera era sporca, vi erano ragnatele sulle travi del soffitto sopra al letto, letto ( materasso) sfondato, si sprofondava nel materasso, scortesia dei proprietari e dichiarazioni degli stessi non rispondenti al vero anzi inveritiere, la camera ha la finestra sulla piazza e non vi sono tende per tale motivo essendo al primo piano abbiamo dovuto tenere le serrande chiuse per tutto il soggiorno per evitare che da fuori si vedesse all'interno.

Pulizia impeccabile, appartamento luminoso, dotato di ogni comfort, miglior posizione possibile a Lucca. Suggerisco a Booking di usare questo appartamento e l’Host come riferimento per valutazione 10. Per pulizia; posizione, efficienza, cortesia, disponibilità, e in aggiunta anche qualità prezzo. A/C perfetta, bottiglie d’acqua sia a temperatura ambiente che in frigorifero. Poiché posizionato in centro, la sera tardi può essere un po’ rumoroso, ma hanno pensato anche a questo. Per chi ne fa uso tappi per le orecchie usa e getta. Capsule caffè espresso di marca e in abbondanza più qualche biscotto confezionato.
