About this cottage rental
Picture waking up each morning with the soothing sounds of nature surrounding your PEI cottage. Birds singing, squirrels scampering through the trees and the call of a mallard breaks the stillness in the cool morning air. Grab a coffee and walk down to the deck overlooking the lake and smell the freshness. Watch and listen as the still lake is interrupted by trout drawing ripples in the mirror surface.
The kitchens in all the cottages are fully equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, coffee pot, Satellite TV. Dishes and cutlery.
The screened porch is a great place to sit in the fresh air. Smoking is permitted on the porch. We ask that you do not smoke in the cottages. We provide a smoke free environment in all our rooms. Cigarette smoking is allowed on the porch of the cottages with ashtrays provided. Please keep the cottage door close if smoking on the porch. We are a Cannabis free property. The use of Cannabis is prohibited anywhere on our property. Thanks for your cooperation.
All the cottages are equipped with fans; some have ceiling fans and other have portable fans.
Outside you have a picnic table and a charcoal BBQ. Gas BBQs are available at a small fee for the propane

Forest and Stream Cottages is located in southeastern PEI, on Points East Coastal Drive, just outside Murray Harbour. Our property is 20 acres of natural beauty with walking trails and the only easy access to a trout filled 1 km long fresh water lake.
Located south off highway 18 (Cape Bear Road) just west of Murray Harbour Village welcome sign. We are 20 minutes to Wood Island Ferry terminal and only 45 minutes to Charlottetown.

Weekend getaway in PEI. The location is a bit removed if you are the type that likes to get a morning coffee you will need to take a vechile, same with any restaurants. Montague has good options but as they advise it’s about a 20 min drive. It was a very hot weekend and we took the option for a portable air conditioner which saved us as it was very hot in the cottage. It took some maneuvering to set up to the window but worked great.

This is a charming and lovely place to stay in order to “get away from it all.” It’s quiet, clean, and private. Located on the South eastern part of the island where beaches and lighthouse are abundant. The River out in the beautiful backyard invited one to borrow one of the kayaks or rowboats to go out for a paddle to explore.
I’d go back in a heartbeat.

My family recently stayed in the executive cottage. We have two young children. We were looking for a cottage with some privacy, big enough for our family and close to the beach. The executive cottage exceeded our expectations. It was immaculate, new, spacious and within our price range. The private deck, Bbq, washer/dryer, full kitchen, huge master bedroom and screened porch was a bonus. It was quiet, peaceful with excess to a trail leading into a forest. We spent lots of time at the beaches as they were only five minutes away. We especially liked a beach that was shallow enough for our children to enjoy. At night we visited a nearby beach that was known for its beach glass. Sounds cliche but I wish I could give this 6 stars instead of five. Our family would seriously consider coming here again next year if we could.AndrewStayed: August 2014, travelled with family
