Palazzo Vecchio Apartments by Mmega

The property was in a fantastic location, right in the heart of the city. It was so easy to get around to all the places of interest, had plenty of surrounding restaurants and wonderful sights to see, and was convenient all round as a base to stay in.

The beds were quite uncomfortable - perhaps the mattresses were old, because they were quite lumpy, and the pillows separated because they were thin. The stairs to get to the property were also very hazardous, and there were works going on in the building, which meant that half of them were taken up by bags of concrete and building materials, making them tricky to get up and down. The lights in the stairwell also often cut out while we were on the stairs, making the hazardous stairwell sometimes downright dangerous.
