Pansion Waldinger

We stayed one night in the Penzion section of Hotel Waldinger during our road trip through Croatia. The room was clean and perfectly adequate for a short stay. The secure parking included in the price was a big plus and gave us peace of mind while traveling. The highlight was definitely the breakfast served in the hotel’s renowned restaurant. The à la carte breakfast was excellent, beautifully presented, and a wonderful way to start the day. Overall, a comfortable stopover with outstanding breakfast, convenient parking, and a great location in Osijek. We would happily stay again for a short visit.

The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the Penzion section would benefit from some renovation. The windows, doors, and bathroom facilities are showing their age and could use an upgrade.

The breakfast, along with the staff was excellent every morning. The location of the property was within walking distance to several cafes, and restaurants

The excercise room was very warm and the exercise bike didn't work. The weights were not put back in place, as several people just left them on the floor. Water and towels should be available up in weight room.

The courtyard extension object rooms are very dated. Bathroom was very tight, shower holder and hair dryer broken. The ceiling exhaust fan was not cleaned in months, possibly longer. The AC unit is working but old and border-line uncontrollable on a hot summer day. These rooms are not matching the higher standards of the main hotel building, and not worth the price overall.
