The welcoming staff Dora and Gordana were absolutely beautiful and we felt like family from the minute we arrived.

There is nothing bad we can say.

Central location, lovely building but above all, the most friendly and helpful staff who could not do enough to help me with disability facilities.

A beautiful building, great location in Tvrđa, lovely breakfast with choice of how to have your eggs cooked, with a warm friendly welcome. Will stay again.

Everything was great.

Situated in the heart of Osijek, Maksimilian is a great place to stay. It is fairly small and the complete opposite of a chain hotel, with friendly owners. At least my room was very quiet, the breakfast (especially the omelettes) is excellent, there's a small bar downstairs where you can get a drink. I was there by car, and it was easy to park about a hundred metres away. It was also nice and warm, though the weather outside was very cold. I think this was perhaps the third or fourth time I've been there, and I definitely hope to return.

Personally, I liked everything, though a colleague was staying in a room in a different part of the hotel and told me that there was a lot of loud music until about 4 in the morning from a club next door. But as noted above, my room was incredibly quiet, so it must be a bit down to luck.
