Apartment by the pool in Sitia Oceanides

Was a great apartment with extraordinary service and super attentive landlords. We all got sick with Covid a few days into our stay and our hosts were getting out of their way to help us with hospital, pharmacies, presents, cooking and even running errands for us. Couldn’t have done it without their endless and kind support beyond expectations. Furthermore, the location and facilities with the pool were fantastic and the Eastern region’s nice spots all within 1 hour’s reach.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The apartment is very clean and the housekeeper comes twice a week. We particularly enjoyed the pool, swimming, sunbathing and eating some meals there. Maria warmly welcomed us and shared her wealth of knowledge about the area. She provided us with a map and advised us about places to visit and recommended many nice restaurants. She is, in fact, a living travel guide! We looked forward to the wonderful Greek coffee and biscuits that Maria made and brought to us at the pool each morning. There are many fruit trees in the garden and we feasted on fresh figs daily. The apartment is located in a lovely area of eastern Crete. There are fewer tourists here and the nature is spectacular with rugged mountains and beautiful beaches with sparkling turquoise water. We would happily spend another holiday at this property.

Essential to have a car but good location for visiting lovely little town of Sitia and beautiful beaches at Vai and Itanos. Beautiful shared pool with lovely gardens and on site parking. Thank you to Eleni for greeting us and helping with all our needs.

Die Fotos auf der Homepage spiegeln die Appartementanlage so wieder wie sie wirklich ist - traumhaft schön :-) Die Appartements befinden sich in einem wunderschönem Garten mit einer Vielzahl von Früchten (Feigen, Birnen, Trauben, Granatäpfel ...), Palmen und Blumen. Je nach Reifegrad können alle Gäste jederzeit gern zugreifen. Die Poolanlage ist fantastisch! Das Wasser (Salzwasser) ist sehr sauber und wird aller vier Tage gewechselt. Es könnten 2-4 Liegen mehr am Pool stehen, dann würde der Komfort noch größer. Die Appartements sind sehr sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Man schläft in den Betten hervorragend! Roomkeeping erfolgt aller drei, vier Tage - Bettwäsche und Handtücher werden gewechselt und die Räume geputzt. Die kleine Hafenstadt Sitia ist ca. 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Es gibt zwei Supermärkte und sehr gute Restaurants, wo man zu sehr erschwinglichen Preisen gut essen kann. Die Verwalterin Maria hat uns sehr gut betreut und mit vielen guten Hinweisen und Tipps zu den wunderbaren Stränden und Sehenswürdigkeiten im Osten Kretas geführt. Massentourismus gibt es hier nicht - nur Natur und Erholung und Entspannung. Herzlichen Dank dafür Maria und für Deinen griechischen Kaffee am Pool :-) Probleme wurden zeitnah behoben. The photos on the homepage reflect the apartment complex as it really is - fantastically beautiful :-) The apartments are located in a beautiful garden with a variety of fruits (figs, pears, grapes, pomegranates ...), palm trees and flowers. Depending on the degree of maturity, all guests are welcome to access at any time. The pool area is fantastic! The water (salt water) is very clean and is changed every four days. There could be 2-4 beach chairs more at the pool, then the comfort would be even bigger. The apartments are very clean and functional. You sleep well in the beds! Roomkeeping takes place every three or four days - bed linen and towels are changed and the rooms are cleaned. The small port town of Sitia is about 5 minutes away by car. There are two supermarkets and very good restaurants where you can eat well at very affordable prices. The manager Mary and also the owner Stelios has taken care of us very good and gave us also many good tips and hints to the wonderful beaches and sights in the east of Crete. There is no mass tourism here - just nature and recreation and relaxation. Thank you Maria and for your Greek coffee at the pool :-) We look forward to see again!
