Great breakfast, coffee.
Hostel was fine but wouldn’t bother staying in Latacunga unless needed for Quilotoa Loop. Can leave bags here for $1 per night.

Nice looking hostel in the city center.
Bag storage at USD 1,— per bag per night. This is the first time in 6 months of travel we’re being charged. Hostel is highly priced.

Kitchen and chill out area is nice, location is good with plenty of restaurants around. Activities were reasonably priced.
Room had no window (only one to the reception, but when opening that one it was super loud and light would come in). There are only two toilets in the shared bathroom area which were always super dirty.
Also, what we found super irritating, and simply not hostel-like: after staying for two nights we left our bags in the hostel and went to a hike, planning to board a night bus later at night. When we returned to the hostel, we were told that using the kitchen area and taking a shower would be 4 dollars per person. Oh well, just feels a bit unnecessary 🙆🏼♂️
