My third stay at Carolina Dunes. I love the ease of the checkin process and where the resort is located. I also like that it’s smaller, easy to park, easy to grab the elevator. My first year I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the unit was inside, as the outside leaves a lot to be desired. And, it was clean! It’s noticeable that the unit is going downhill and needs some work. Master shower is full of mold, the vents are filthy and rusting, paint is chipping off the walls. These aren’t issues you can just call maintenance for and they’ll fix it, the unit 606 really needs some work. I’ll probably give it another chance next year for the reasons stated above, but if it’s not better at that time I’ll probably elect to stay somewhere else.
