I was pleasantly surprised by this place. it was even better than I expected! The apartment is just a 6-minute walk from the train station, in a very quiet area, although to be honest, the whole town of Appenzell is quiet and lovely. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and I was especially happy to find the little sweet treats waiting for me, such a thoughtful touch! I’m also very grateful for the tourist card, which made it possible for me to explore the whole region and learn so much about the region. The interior was clearly designed quite some time ago, but everything is very well maintained - the furniture and walls are in perfect condition. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, and the coffee machine with capsules was definitely one of my favourite things! Bruno and his family are wonderful people who really respect your privacy. Even though the apartment is in the same house where the family lives, communication was easy and minimal, while I was happy to have a chat with Bruno whenever he had some free time. I would honestly call this one of the most warm, welcoming and charming Booking.com stays I’ve had in all my travels. I would absolutely recommend it!

Es cómodo, con una temperatura interior buenísima, teniendo en cuenta que he ido en verano. El entorno es tranquilo y la zona de terraza agradable. El anfitrión fue muy amable y me explicó sitios cercanos para ver. No lo esperaba y me sorprendí para bien. Además, me habían dejado encima de la mesa algunos productos típicos de la zona, que pude probar. También pude disfrutar de la Appenzeller Holiday Card por estar alojada allí. Fue una maravilla.

Very comfortable with a few little local food samples to try. Also they did our washing for us… do grateful! Nice quiet location.
