Very convenient apartment for families. Good and spacious. A/C is working well, and the kitchen is equipped

4th floor without a functioning elevator. It's quite a climb up, especially with luggage. Too bad the elevator is not being fixed. The restroom a bit small and more towels could be provided.

Place is very spacious. It has all neccessary amenities. Alex - the apt manager is very helpful. He responded to our questions very fast. On the checkout date, we realized we forgot our stuff after leaving and Alex let us come back in to find our stuff right away.

Some of the apartment facilities are falling apart (ex: door knob). It is a bit of a walk to the main attractions.

Lovely flat, beautifully looked after with great facilities, right in a safe, lovely area of Lisbon.

The bathroom was a little outdated but that’s only a minor thing.

Clean and with aircon

We have just returned from a stay at this apartment having booked it many months ago. I’ll start with the positives, the apartment is very well equipped with ample crockery and pans etc, was clean and had air conditioning in every room which was a godsend in the Lisbon August heat. Now for the not so good point, the lift was broken and the apartment is on the fourth floor up many flights of stairs. When we originally looked for an apartment, we only searched for apartments with lifts or on the ground floor as one of our group is in her 70s and has a heart condition, so walking up a lot of stairs was not really a viable option. The apartment advertises a lift so we booked it with the free cancellation option a few months ago as we were unsure if my friend would be well enough to come until nearer the time. When the money was debited from my account for the apartment just before the stay, the booking then became non-refundable. A couple of days before we were due to arrive the host Alex messaged me and told me that the lift was broken and apologised for the inconvenience. I advised him that this was a big problem due to the reasons outlined above and he then told us that we could either cancel the reservation free of charge or he would give us a 10% discount. I should also mention that the week before this happened I had messaged Alex and asked him if there was washing up liquid etc in the apartment and shower gel and he said there wasn’t usually, but that he would put some in for us which was very nice of him, but he did not mention at this point either that the lift was broken. We did try to find another similar apartment in Lisbon, but as you can imagine two days before the arrival date, there were very few options and all of them were very expensive and way out of our budget.
