About this cabin rental
Just renovated kitchen, flooring, bathroom, appliances, and added Wi-Fi and 55” TV.
Cabin that is lost in the woods and just up the hill from great fishing on Truman Lake. Get away to a location that exudes peace and quiet. This cabin has been in our family for many years and is my recharge location to go to every April and November. Short 1/8 mile walk down the hill to the cove or a very short drive across the highway to Higgins Landing boat launch. 15 minutes drive to Iconium, or 30 minutes to Clinton or Warsaw. We only allow pets on a pre-approved basis and no hunting or shooting at the property, but be on the lookout in the creek gravels in the cove for arrowheads. This area was a main Indian trailhead and several arrowheads have been found in the immediate area around the cove. If you need to make cell phone calls, simply walk/drive back up to the highway (100 yards) or the little corner store at Z and ZZ Hwy (3 miles).

Cabin is just amazing! Rustic and beautiful. No annoying neighbors. Less than 20 miles from Warsaw. Great accomadations and just about everything you neef at the cabin. Absalutely wonderful.

Everything was great. My only complaint and don’t want to even say complaint is that it is tight getting our large fishing boat in and out of the drive. There was not enough space to turn it around. Our kids had a larger home booked at the same time so we were able to park the boat at their rental.
