Unique and beautiful - the perfect way to experience Barbizon

Beautiful gallery and museum in a perfect location in Barbizon. Charming staff and wonderful clean, large and tastefully furnished bedroom. What a joy to wake up surrounded by Barbizon school paintings. A unique experience and great to have a kitchenette and balconies too. Highly recommended! Will love to revisit.

Exceptional

Amongst all other aspects, the eclectic nature of staying in an art gallery and having unlimited access to all of the art pieces. At the time of our visit the owner was staying at the property and so we had the benefit of his good company and insight. The manager, Luigi, was very accommodating and gracious. We could not fault the hotel at all.

Tout était parfait, un cadre atypique mais magnifique. Luigi nous a reçu de façon admirable et les discussions partagées ensemble ont été très intéressantes pour connaître mieux l'histoire du lieu. Je recommande vivement cet établissement.

Une nuit au musée : Insolite et époustouflant

Tout. Dedans, dehors, partout où se pose le regard, des œuvres d’art. Vaste chambre alliant le classique (parquet, tentures épaisses) et la modernité (douche italienne, …). Staff très accueillant et serviable. Le parking sécurisé.

Tout était absolument parfait. Pour l’être encore plus, je proposerais aux personnes âgées une chaise plutôt qu’un tabouret pour prendre le petit déjeuner.
