The accomodation was perfect - the small town of Barbizon was delightful

Our hostess Virginie was delightful and the cottage was simply perfect. It was beautifully constructed in Virginie's large and spacious garden. It feels comfortably separated from the main house and will soon have a wonderful hot tub on the deck. The interior is lovely with all the fine wood craftsmanship done by our host's husband. Every comfort had been thought of and it was a short walk to Barbizon's main street with lovely restaurants and 3 small but perfect galleries of the Barbizon painters. The village of Barbizon was stunning and the walk on into the forest at the end of the main street is stunning. A perfect location for our stay enroute to the south of France, we normally just head down the motorway, but we will certainly visit again next time we travel to France.

Un séjour cooconing, reposant et dépaysant.

L'emplacement idéal a quelques pas du centre de Barbizon, le cottage très confortable et intimiste, les abords très bien entretenus et le jacuzzi toujours propre et disponible. Le petit déjeuner est frais et déposé tous les jours.

Sympa à faire une fois mais ne vaut clairement pas le prix payé

Espace extérieur très sympa, pas de vis-à-vis, jacuzzi et nuits calmes👌🏼

Être dans le jardin de l’hôte, avec la tondeuse à gazon dans les oreilles jusque tard… Hôte un peu trop « intrusive » bien qu’adorable. Nous aimons être seuls, le matin l’hôte venait modifier la température du jacuzzi, très sympa mais si on loue qqch ce n’est pas pour qu’on sente une présence sur place avec nous. La literie était ok néanmoins les oreillers étaient des coussins de décorations… Heure du pdj fixée à 10:30h ok le premier jour puis 11h le dernier pour nous dire qu’elle viendra plus tôt si ce n’est pas gênant pour faire l’état des lieux de sortie… Légèrement oppressant puis finalement arrivée bien plus tard… (Je précise tout de même que nous avons plutôt l’habitude de louer des appartements ou dans des hôtels)
