Mellow Hostel

Great location away from the chaos and noise but also easy to get to the chaos if that is what you are after. Clean rooms, Friendly staff, and a great banana pancake in the morning. The mixed 8-bed dorms have 3 toilets and 2 showers in the room which is amazing. Highly Recommend.

Great hostel. I stayed in the mixed dorm. Mellow is a good name as it has a relaxed feeling about it. The dorm was great, big beds with curtains, sockets, lights and a shelf. The aircon worked really well. The dorm was a very large room, with 8 beds and each bed has a lockable locker and then a separate cubby hole for your stuff. The bathroom is attached to the dorm with 2 toilets and 2 showers (one shower is open air). There’s a communal space to sit outside the dorm. There’s also a main communal space, free tea and coffee, and free water refills. You can rent mopeds and they can arrange taxis for you. The free breakfast was a pancake which they cook per person. Location is great. It’s in Kuta so easy access to everything but it’s on a side road so there’s no traffic noise.

thé staff is very nice even if when I arrived nobody was available in the guest house for the check in. I actually found the owner in the near street. Of course, being cheap, you get why you pay. curtains are available for every bed.

the accommodation is pretty row. during heavy rains, it rains also in one of the toilets. the toilets and the room were not super clean.
