Lovely hosts. They live across the road. They don't speak english, but we managed with our limited Italian and communication through email if needed. The accomodation is in a lovely hamlet. No shops but there are donkeys. You will need to have a car for which there is onsite parking. The whirlpool would have been great if the weather was warmer. The water only heats to 25 degrees C so we didn't use it. The private courtyard has a BBQ and is a lovely spot to eat meals. There is a good restaurant called Mrgani24 in a nearby hamlet.

We had an absolutely lovely 3 night stay here! Wish we had booked for longer. The hosts went above and beyond. On our first night we arrived quite late and we were given a plate of istrian meats and cheeses and a gorgeous bottle of wine which was perfect as we had come straight from the airport and hadn't bought any food! While we were out they popped over and turned on the jacuzzi so it was warm and ready for us when we got back. Marija came over one evening with a big bowl of deliciously sweet home-grown grapes. So many lovely personal touches that you rarely find! The apartment was equipped with everything you need and the beds were very comfortable! Would definitely recommend Dide Sime for a countryside break in Istria!
