The location can't be beat in the middle of the downtown action! We like to note to future guests that this is a popular area (especially on the weekends) and the noise level on the Downtown Mall may be higher particularly on Friday and Saturday evenings. There is an event venue below the apartment that may have considerable activity into the late evening (12:00am).

Clean, well-appointed, and classy apartment with central location. Perfect for those wanting to be at the heart of Charlottesville. Note that this also means you’re at the mercy of the noise of the crowds, especially on the weekends. Luckily we sleep with earplugs. Also, the area, like many cities, struggles with its homeless problems. We never felt unsafe, but it can be a little startling for those unaccustomed to this reality. Also, our arrival instructions included two different codes for the front door; one at the beginning of the email and another at the end of the email. After several unsuccessful attempts (using the code at the end of the email) we called the manager. She quickly pointed out the code at the beginning of the email and we made it in. The welcome on the TV screen also listed the incorrect code. Overall, it was a lively stay in a beautiful apartment. Would definitely book again!

clean, cozy, (noisy due to location but to be expected in the urban area), not as much to do in the downtown mall as i would have expected but it was nice to be within walking distance of coffee, shops, food etc. Had a great weekend meeting up as mother/daughter and exploring the area.

We arrived at our VRBO which was located in a fantastic area, and the location was walkable to most events. However, upon arrival the kitchen had not been cleaned the stovetop was dirty and there was dried egg yolk on the kitchen table. Very dusty. Our son ended up leaving to get a hotel room because the sleeper sofa did not have bedding available. Our daughter slept on the couch without pulling it out. We reached out and the maintenance manager had linens delivered the next day. Very quick in response. Again, great location. We were disappointed that we were not set up for our stay.
