Rodon House Aparthotel

Very good location, in the immediate proximity to the the beach Tripiti. We had a big family room Nr. 9 with a big terrace where there were 2 sunbeds, rather big table, 2 chairs and incredible sea-view. Rooms were cleaned every day, cleaning women were trying very hard. Nice swimming pool is situated in the territory, with free sunbeds. Good restaurant with a choice of fresh fish is there, too. Breakfast (buffet) was very decent- eggs, sausages, ham, cheese, feta, jams, honey, pastries and spinach cakes, tea, coffee, orange juice, crepes (every second day; important: crepes disappear from the buffet almost immediately! :) There are 2 zones to park car: in the lower part of the hill (for those who live near the pool) and in the upper part (for those who live there). If you live in an apartment upstairs, be ready for climbing the stairs, up to abt. 100 steps, depending on the level where you live. Beds were very good, sheets were clean and comfortable. A/C is available. Wifi was good, but not everywhere, some places were blind, but I think it's because our apartment was situated rather away from reception where router is possibly situated. There are pine trees everywhere, one can smell them. Sealife is rather rich- 10-15 kinds of fishes, many sea urchins, we even say an octopus once (while snorkeling). Sea water is very clean, transparent, relatively warm but refreshing (21-22 C on 14-20 June). The nearest supermarket Masoutis is 9 minutes by car, one can buy EVERYTHING there.

Wasps are flying over the plates during the breakfast, but you can do nothing about it, it's nothing about the property. Personnel places to the tables so called "coffee against bees", i.e. some coffee in a small plate, slowly smoldering and distributing smoke all around, which scares away the insects.

EXCELLENT CHOICE . BEAUTIFUL ROOM VERY CLEAN, IMMERSED IN NATURE NEXT TO THE BEACH. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

SHORT TIME

Located near Tripiti Beach and Cave. The pool was ok with sections for kids and adults.

Reserved the room for 3 people but when we arrived the room was prepared only for two. They solved the problem eventually. The breakfast very poor the same for all 7 days. Not even a single item was changed whole week. I feelt like in the movie "Groundhog Day". No fruits, bad coffee. Tried the italian restaurant of the location but also the pasta was disappointing. You can find way better places to stay in Thassos within the same price range. To be avoided.

This hotel has a large territory to roam around and two beaches, one is small with the cave and the large one, traditional sand beach. Both beaches are public property, but they are adjacent to the hotel and they are clean and well maintained. Because this place has a large territory it’s great for kids and pre-teens to explore and be a bit more on their own and off their phones for a bit. The rooms are simple but very cozy and have good natural ventilation as well as air conditioners. The stuff is like a family, they work in this place year after year and value this place, which creates a nice family like feeling. I definitely come back to stay here again and recommend to friends.

We enjoyed a spacious room, with a beautiful see view and a nice balcony. The stuff was really kind, from the people that was handling the breakfast to the manager, whom we really appreciate his effort in helping us on having a pleased stay. He was kind and patient with us on our first day, we were so tired after a hard night of driving with a one and half year old child. We had problems with the air conditioning to our room and due to the tiredness our child was not able to sleep and was crying and screaming and he change our room really fast. The breakfast was delicious. The beach is quite close, like 5 min walk. The hotel restaurant was good.

My husband didn’t liked that he had to climb a lot of stairs to get to the room.

Very nice and informal atmosphere, the staff was always ready to help us with smile. Very beautiful and comfortable studio and amazing garden and pool. There is also a small beach near the pool where you can have lunch at the maestrale restaurant, one of the best in the island. I want point out about the breakfast....considering that is a 3 stars hotel they offer a continental buffet with : coffee, milk, tea, orange juice, marmalade and honey, butter, fresh bread, fruit , eggs boiled or omelets, ham, cheese , tomato and feta ,cereals , small hot dogs boiled and various kind of Greek pies salty( spanacopita,tiropita) and sweet ( bougatsa with cream ) fresh baked .All these served in the garden area wich is very pleasant. For us was more than enough and more than we expected.

Was close to the sea

The old bathroom, poor equipped chichi nette, the disproportional price (1.700 EUR) for 7 nights in relation with the conditions. It is presented as a 2 stars hotel, but the price si for a 4 stars hotel.

Everything: perfect location, amazing see view, friendly staff, the restaurant Il Maestrale. ' Hope we will be back!

Excellent location for families with and without children, the food at the hotel restaurant is excellent! The breakfast is ok, there will definitely be dissatisfied people, but every morning I had something to eat. The friendly staff, with a smile on their faces, tried to do their best to solve any dissatisfaction. Clean in the rooms, recently renovated, the kitchens need renovation, we did not feel that it was a minus. We will be back next year for sure!

This hotel suits for families with kids, it has amazing views and places near. The pool and the restaurant are great! Additionally we'd like to say thank to administrator, who was very friendly!

Very limited selection at breakfast.

Hospitalities and enjoyable conversations cannot be captured in photo frames. We had a delightful and unforgettable time.

The variety of breakfast products could have been better... We missed having cucumbers, tomatoes, and olives. The only aspect I can provide criticism about seems to be this, and I sincerely request them to improve in this regard.

Big room, great view and the best food in the island

We have been to Thasos a few times throughout the years and have had many types of accommodation: Zako Apartments (as students), Nikoleta Luxury Villa, 360 Luxury Collection and Rodon House. They were all good holiday options, but I would go for Rodon if I had to choose between the 4. Why? Mainly because everything you need is right there. They have a pool for adults and a pool for kids, they have a bar by the pool, they have an italian restaurant with good al dente pasta (not boiled until dead) and fresh fish and seafood, they are right next to the beach (and I mean it is a 1 minute walk from the hotel to Tripiti), and they have sunbeds right by the Tripiti sea cave. The rooms are clean, ours had a large terrace where we spent the evenings drinking the house wine. We paid extra for breakfast and it was very good, you may have seen people complaining about it, but let me give you a bit of context : we paid very little (and I mean VERY) and got vegetables, eggs, cheese, yogurt, fruit, coffee, jam, honey and cake. I think it's safe to say that it’s good value for money and it's unrealistic and unreasonable to expect more. Last but not least, the service is great, they constantly ask if everything is fine with your stay and what else they could do for you. And the hotel is very close to a good taverna (Pirofani). There is also taxi service of ~7 eur if you want to go to Limenaria for good coffee (we recommend the Daily Dose), for dinner (George taverna), for cocktails (Istos Cafe bar).

It was a perfect, comfortable place, to a magnificent location. The pool and the pool bar, was our favourite place for drinks! The staff was kind and helpful with every question we had. The Italian restaurant of the Rodon Apart Hotel" Maestrale" was beyond expectations. Traditional italian food and fresh fish! I will be visiting this place again for sure!

1. Location- near the one of the best beach- Tripiti beach. 2. Rodon house hotel has a big yard with all facilities in it: pool, restaurant, a lot of plenty , trees , witch provide shadow fresh air. 3. Big space of the Apartment with big balcony. 4. Attentive staff, special thanks to Dora 😊

Quiet place with amazing view, friendly staff.

WI FI was really slow, but sometimes it's ok to be without access to the internet :)

The first thing that we didn't expected was 3rd bed as an extra bed. We pay the full price for 3 adults, and that means 3 beds, but not extra small folding bed, where my sons feet were hanging off. Second thing is Internet, we basically couldn't send a message never mind calling someone or reading mail. Internet is very important part of people's life now days. Air-conditioning is very poor, couldn't cool down the room at all. The stuff was very kind and facility is clean enough.

Nothing.

The property was beautiful everything was very clean. The pool could be seen from high above glistening in the sunshine. I enjoyed walking out onto the soft sandy beach and swimming through the grotto. Rosa and Tomasso are terrific hosts! This is my third time staying in this lovely, cozy vacation property.

The location, ambiance, friendly staff and owners, very attentive to needs. I had breakfast daily, drinks by the pool and beach, and great food for lunches. Lovely views of the water and loved hearing the waves at night to relax to.

Too short of a stay to try in-house dining. I will have to try next time.
