Exceptional stay – felt like being part of a big family
We stayed at Rodon House Aparthotel in September and had a truly perfect experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome — warm, kind, and genuinely caring. It honestly felt less like a hotel and more like being part of a big family.
The apartment was very comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the place was calm and relaxing — perfect for a couple’s getaway. Everything was exactly as described, and even better thanks to the personal touch from the hosts.
The only small suggestion for improvement would be to add a glass shower screen in the bathroom, as it would make the shower area even more convenient. Other than that, everything was excellent.
Even the small issue with safe-locker was handled perfectly by the staff.
We stayed with my wife and would absolutely love to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a friendly, cozy, and welcoming place on Thassos.

The staff are really nice, welcoming and smiley. The location is nice, with a beach real close, pool and a beach bar. The breakfast was good and diversed (but indeed the same each day) and the food was also good at the restaurant by the pool.
We were dissapointed by the room with the feeling that the photos were misleading. I think there might be better rooms reading the other reviews but it was not our case. We had an apartment to fit 5 people with a nice bedroom but the rest was a mess: the second sleeping area was in fact kind of an entryway/living room without a proper window (only an entrance door and a very very small side window with no insect net so useless) so the ventilation was really poor, hot at night, no natural light, it looked like a cave. The kitchen had a musty smell and also no dish soap or dish sponge so I avoided using it. The bathroom was a mood killer: the water from the shower was splashing everywhere - there was no mop in the room so I had to go outside each evening to bring one, there was mold in the shower area corners (it could use a good scrub because otherwise the bath was actually quite new and updated) while the toilet...we dread it when we had to use it because the more "solid" stuff would just not go down the drain, no matter how many times we'd flush. Eventually, after half a day, it would probably get cleared but... that is that - an interesting experience. With some minor adjustments and attention to some details, this could turn out into a great location.

The location was wonderful, beautiful views and fantastic beach just a few meters away. The staff were also pleasant and kind.
Unfortunately, there were a few things that were disappointing 1. Cleanliness - we had sheets that were stained (which the staff immediately replaced after we told them), several towels were stained and the facilities eg lounges by the pool were not maintained well. 2. Breakfast - there were wasps all over the food during breakfast (which wasn’t of the highest quality). We understand this is a general problem in the area but arrangements should be made to accommodate for this (eg indoors) especially for people who may be allergic like one of our family members. 3. Extra charges - hotel guests are expected to pay a minimum charge for certain lounges by the pool and by the sea. I’ve never seen that before. The only free lounges were individual, very few and poorly maintained. 4. Overall value for money - we payed way too much for what we got.
