Sunlight Villas Heated Pool

Me and my family really enjoyed staying at sunlight villas in July. The location was really lovely as it was nice to be in a quiet area but also easy to get to the local village as and when needed. Definitely recommend hiring a car as it’s nice to travel and explore the Island we drove down to kissamos port for a boat tour aswell as driving down to rethymno to do a food shop at lidls and explore rethymnos restaurants and watch the sunrise on the beach. The staff at sunlight villas were amazing and incredibly kind they were always around to help out if needed, the property is super clean and well kept with everything you would need to enjoy home cooked meals etc… the best thing about the property is the heated pool - as we had young children this was a bonus for us and made our time at the villa enjoyable. I would highly recommend sunlight villas! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

At times, we found ants in 2/4 of the bedrooms however during our 10 day stay this happened twice and with the cleaner coming in often to freshen up the house it really wasn’t much of a big deal. I just thought to mention it as it’s important to be 100% transparent. I must say that other than this everything was great.

Wir waren als Gruppe mit 24 Personen dort und hatten jederzeit tolle Ansprechpartner vor Ort. Gleich drei Pools zu haben - hatten alle drei Villenteile zusammen gebucht - war purer Luxus. Die Abgeschiedenheit lässt auch zu, dass man wirklich unter sich ist. Die Zimmer und Aufenthaltsräume und das Anwesen an sich haben einen tollen Standard.

Die Ausstattung der Küche ist ein wenig spärlich , womit ich nicht technische Geräte sondern Teller, Besteck und Küchenutensilien meine. Zwar reicht es aus, aber gerade so.

Good views, nice and warm pool

There were not enough dishes and kitchen utensils for 10 people, and there wasn’t even a proper kitchen knife available. The overall cleanliness was below expectations. For example, some of the bed linen was dirty upon arrival. It was also extremely difficult to reach the host. They replied to one message after a full day, but after that they did not respond to any further messages or phone calls. The level of peace and quiet depends heavily on the neighbors. On both the first and the last night, the neighbors were shouting, screaming, and singing loudly until the middle of the night, which significantly disturbed our stay.
