Clean, comfortable and nicely presented apartment. I would recommend it and would stay again.

Staff did not respond when I said hello on either occasion I saw them, which came across as a little unfriendly. The shower itself is great to use, but there is no lip or barrier between it and the rest of the bathroom – the whole room gets wet and you end up using a towel to stop the water flowing into the bedroom.

Bed was comfy. Room lights were on when I arrived, which was welcoming and made entering the room easier. Key safe was clear and practical. It was generally clean and had the essentials, like soap and milk available, which was helpful.

The bed cover seemed a bit dusty. There was quite a lot of noise, especially later on Friday evening. Someone tried to enter my room on Friday evening too. The number display for the key safe had been altered in my absence, when I left the key in it when I was out on Friday and possibly when someone tried to enter the room when I was there.

T.V didn’t work switched of itself numerous times Rang them up in the morning the staff member who claimed she was the manager was bluntly rude no manners at all.

The apartment was brilliant and had everything we needed for a couples escape. The apartment was really spacious, clean and the copper bath was to die for! The tea lights and rose petals on arrival made the arrival stunning and spectacular!

We couldn’t get parking outside the apartments but did find secure parking at Fishergate Shopping Centre which was only a 5 mins walk from the apartments.

The property is so well located for us when we come up to stay. Very close to the high street, University, places to eat and Avenham Park. It’s like a home from home. We have stayed twice now.

It’s a shame there is no breakfast facility. The sofa in the lounge is not very comfortable and could do with updating. Also the sash window in the lounge/kitchen area was broken and could only open it out and downwards which wasn’t totally safe. I called reception who came to have a look with their maintenance guy who took a look and said he couldn’t fix it. The window needed its balance springs reconnecting. Hopefully thats been done when we come back to stay. Also I’d like to see the rooms we stayed in more affordable. We hope to be up at Christmas time again.

Beautiful room, didn't expect it to be looking so nicely decorated and I loved the option of using the kitchenette as this gave us lots of freedom.

The room was actually really hot at night and I struggled to sleep because of the temperature. There was a fan provided, but didn't really help. I have no idea why the room was so hot as the radiators weren't turned on. I also didn't feel comfortable to open the windows over night as our wee room was directly located on the corner of a side street.

Really nice stay. Got upgraded, so not sure how much the room would cost, but great value for money.

Room was a little warm and low ceilings were a bit of a problem.

Really lovely room in a lovely area. Very well situated with a beautiful park nearby. Our room was upgraded before we arrived, the room was fantastic value for money. The fridge in the room was a bonus and, although we didn't use them, the microwave and hob would be useful too.

Everything was good

The room w;as spacious and had a grand feeling about it. Slipper bath under the window was a touch of luxury and the toiletries provided top notch.

Self check in is fine but creates a little difficulty when walking through the restaurant which I later found out is a separate business. The website includes pictures of the restaurant so I assumed we would be able to eat at the location. It turns out you need to book several weeks in advance and be prepared for a 10 course taster meal!

I loved my room. It was called the polo room and was bright and airy. Lots of windows that opened. And had a seating area and a mini kitchen with a fridge and hob. The bed was huge too and very snuggly. I've stayed here a few times and i always find the rooms clean with a luxury feel. It's opposite Avenhem Park which is a large country park that also has a cafe that does breakfast. It's a lovely location.

There just needs a shelf in the bathroom to put toiletries/makeup bag

A swish room. Great to see how effectively it's been transformed, while still keeping the building's Victorian heritage, especially in the restaurant. Close to the city centre, (theatre, shopping and restaurants), and parks only a step or two away from the front door.

The location is fantastic and bed is very comfortable.

No lift so if you have heavy bags it’s difficult. No washing machine.

We arrived after going the wrong way ( sat navs fault) and were pleased to see a free parking space . Luckily a nice lady was also staying and guided us through the building etc it wasn't to hard, but I'm not good at directions. We were staying in the lodge room . We opened the door and wow the apartment was very big . I did take a video but thought it best being a surprise, so I decided not to upload it. The apartment is beautiful . It has two very large bedrooms with en suites and the bed very large and comfortable. A nice little kitchenette and a sitting area with a sofa . Tvs in every room and also another separate toilet near to seating area. It's like home from home fact it would actually make a nice permanent apartment. My husband was very impressed and even more when he realised the price i paid ( when you pay cheap you don't expect anything it's just a place to place your head but this is exceptional and worth every penny ) . They have thought of everything, including a little treat jar full of sweets 😋 Thank you for the best night's sleep, and this is only our first night . ( staying two ) just what we need before facing a day of stress . A fairly quite area and you forget your not far from city centre.

Only one problem but I think that's due to being an old building is the slight smell of damp not a problem with windows open . And one of the bulbs is flickering which we turned off ( bulb on its way out i think ) other than them small issues nothing to dislike .

We loved the free upgrade. What a fabulous start to our stay. The accommodation was so comfortable and clean. We were a few minutes walk from the train station. It was delightful! Thank you for making our weekend that little bit more special ☺️

The room was really hot as it is above a restaurant. It had a small fan but this was a bit noisy to be on all the time.

Beautiful tasteful luxurious rooms , comfortable clean and airy , customer service fantastic , upgraded and had a lovely surprise of rose petals candles and chocolates in our room :) highly reccomend for a relaxing break
