About this house rental
Visit Washington... this cozy home is perfect for business travelers as well as large groups and families. It's only a 15 min drive to DC's best attractions (museums, White house, shopping, nightlife). It has a living room + basement for entertainment, dining room and 4 cozy bedrooms for relaxing after days and nights exploring the city. The closest metro is a short 4 minute Uber/Lyft ride away.
The house has three bedrooms and a bathroom on the top floor. The main floor boasts a modern living room, dining table for 4, kitchen with all the essentials and a bedroom with a private bathroom. The basement is great for gatherings, with a bar and comfy futon.
We provide guests with clean linens and towels upon their arrival. If the guests would like the towels, linens, and/or house cleaned during the stay, we are more than happy to offer this service at $125/cleaning. Please let us know prior to your arrival so that we can arrange for this service with the cleaning crew.
The homes surrounding this listing primarily include semi-detached brick row houses built in the 1950's. This is a residential area where dining and shopping are not in walking distance. However, within a short 15 minute drive, you will reach nightlife in the downtown area and H Street corridor. Right next to downtown, you will find our Nation's most impressive museums, the White House and lots of shopping. The house is located in an area mostly known for Fort DuPont Park, a 376-acre wooded park under the management of the National Park Service. The name of the park comes from the old Civil War earthwork fort that lies within the park.

When you need a big house, you have to book this one. A lot of rooms. Also two bathrooms and a nice living in basement.
So nice to be with a lot off people.
The only thing we missed was a washingmachine. For the rest the house is very complete.

A group of colleagues and myself stayed for 2 nights to attend the National Nurses March. The house was very clean with all amenities in good working condition. It was so convenient to have towels, linens, touletries and the coffee was a bonus! At no time did any of us feel unsafe in the neighborhood. It was very quiet and a convenient Uber ride to the city. Thanks for renting out such a nice property at a great price!

My family had a great time, no complaints. I messaged the owner a few times and he responded to each question. It was close enough to the subway/busses that we got around without too much issue. Next time I'll have to stay longer, there is so much to do.

First, the positive. Working with Michael, the property owner was good. He was pretty quick to get back with us. The house was clean and decent. The neighborhood was questionable and we couldn't even get a pizza delivered to the house. After a long day of sightseeing, we wanted a pizza delivered... Or ANYTHING delivered... No dice. Big negative! The TVs required your own personal account information. No channels were provided. I don't want to sound too negative. We had a good time, it just wasn't exactly what we were expecting.
