Røldalstunet Overnatting

The climate of the old, warm, , cosy, norwegian house; everything that one may need for the comfortable living in inside, and well organised. The localisation, athough close to the road and center of Røldal is very peacefull and quiet. Thee is only few meters to the shop that is opened untill 00:00. The owner is a wonderfull, warm and helpfull person . I'd certainly come back here with the nearest opportunity.

La casa está situada a 10 minutos andando de una sauna y de zona de pesca, en plena naturaleza. En la puerta de la casa hay un cargador de coche eléctrico. Es práctico tenerlo tan cerca.

Uno de nosotros tuvo que dormir en un colchón en el suelo porque no había camas para los 11 que componíamos el grupo. La ropa de cama y las toallas no estaban incluidas en el precio. Hubo que pagarlas aparte. La casa debía quedar limpia y si no, se cobraría el servicio de limpieza. El dueño había comentado todo ello previamente.

Quiet, cute and comfortable — would have enjoyed it if it had been clean.

The owner apparently relies on the people who stay here to clean it before they leave. As a result, everything felt unwashed, as if it hasn’t had a deep cleaning in years. This is the only place I have ever stayed in Scandinavia, and years of traveling there, that didn’t feel clean. The floors, carpet, and corners had dust and even cobwebs in places. If the owner can’t do it, he really should pay someone to come in and clean, not impose that on his customers as their obligation. Other than the cleanliness issue, it was really a nice place and we would have enjoyed our stay much more if he had a house cleaner.
