Røldalstunet Overnatting

The cabin was cozy, perfect for a chill evening before skiing. All needed facilities were there.

I missed some coffee and tea in the cabins. Otherwise all was good.

Gute Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Das Häuschen war geheizt, es gab eine gut ausgestattete Küche, ganz in der Nähe war ein Supermarkt. Das Auto konnte vor der Tür stehen. Zum Schlafraum hoch führte eine sehr steile, schmale Treppe

Goede douche, lekker terras met picknicktafel, voldoende koelkastruimte. Parkeren voor de deur.

Quiet, cute and comfortable — would have enjoyed it if it had been clean.

The owner apparently relies on the people who stay here to clean it before they leave. As a result, everything felt unwashed, as if it hasn’t had a deep cleaning in years. This is the only place I have ever stayed in Scandinavia, and years of traveling there, that didn’t feel clean. The floors, carpet, and corners had dust and even cobwebs in places. If the owner can’t do it, he really should pay someone to come in and clean, not impose that on his customers as their obligation. Other than the cleanliness issue, it was really a nice place and we would have enjoyed our stay much more if he had a house cleaner.
