Situated in a quiet residential street in Garajau, this apartment is ideal to relax in with a nice garden and sea view. It is just about 10 minutes by car from Funchal centre and it is also conveniently located for visiting other parts of the Island.
This apartment is located in Garajau, 10 minutes by car to city centre of Funchal and accommodates 4 people. It has 2 bedrooms, one with 1 double bed and the other with 2 single beds. It has 1 bathroom and a garden with hammock chairs to relax in the sun. The apartment is big and fully equipped with all modcons - dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, TV plus free wireless internet and a free-parking space.
AREA
Renting a car at the airport is probably the best option to enjoy the freedom of discovering the Island on your own and returning to a quiet apartment with a private garden at the end of the day. Relaxing in Garajau, wandering its residential streets, going to the beach or reading a book in your own private garden are also some of the privileges of staying in this area. Peaceful place.

To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules.
• Smoking is not permitted inside the property. A fine of €300 will be charged for non-compliance.
• Parties or events are not permitted.
• Pets are not permitted.
• Please be considerate of your neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night.
The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, a member of our team may contact you. You are not permitted to disable, cover or tamper this or any other equipment installed on the property.
In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration purposes.
Municipal tourist tax (when applicable):
€2.00 per person/night for guests aged 13 and above, up to a maximum of 7 nights (€14.00 per person per stay). A payment link will be sent prior to arrival.
Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If it is not arranged at least 48 hours beforehand, check-in will be subject to our team’s availability.
Check-in: from 16:00 | Check-out: by 12:00
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and an additional charge.
By confirming your reservation, all guests agree to our house rules and accommodation conditions.
OTHER NOTES
All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide, free of charge, a baby travel crib, high chair and baby bath upon request before check-in. Requests made less than 48 hours before arrival may be subject to an additional fee. All properties are equipped with a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and a fire blanket.
For stays of 8 nights or more, a mid-stay service is provided, including the replenishment of bed linen, towels and consumables only. This service is not included for shorter stays. Additional cleaning services during your stay are available on request at an extra charge.

Nice property but it’s definitely seen better days. On the plus side, the apartment is spacious, has covered parking and has newer, well-functioning appliances. On the downside, the back porch floor was covered in water as there was an old seal in the window. The bathroom door/lock combo was hanging on by a single loose screw. One of the sliding doors wouldn’t lock properly so maintenance had to come and fix it. The hallways of the building are crumbling a bit and detract from the overall appearance. I asked 2 or 3 times for a cutting board but received no reply. That was a bit frustrating as it shouldn’t be that hard to communicate with guests, especially over something fairly minor. I ended up cutting on the counter as there was no cutting board in sight. Other than this, we had a fine stay. However if we were to come back to Madeira, I think we’d choose a spot right in Funchal.

Le logement est très grand, confortable et idéalement situé (notamment en cette saison où les nuages se concentrent le plus souvent sur le nord et l’extrême est de l’île). C’est un appartement, mais on a presque l’impression d’être dans un logement individuel grâce à l’immense espace extérieur qui en fait presque le tour. L’arrivée et le départ flexibles avec la boîte à clés sont très pratiques.

Amazing houve, lots of space, but no mobile phone network anywere, and the Wi-Fi was slow, and only could get a signal no the living room.
