Stable Cottage, Cosy Devon Retreat for Couples or Small Families with Indoor heated Pool, Tennis Court, Direct Access to the Tarka Trail for cycling

Stable Cottage was so peaceful once we found it! It was comfortable and spotlessly clean and met our needs completely.

The bathroom was dated and would benefit from an upgrade. However there was constant hor water.

Loved the location, the accommodation was perfect. Host were great and being on a farm was lovely. Best was the indoor heated pool, my kids loved it

Fabulous family friendly retreat, gracious and very accommodating hosts who quickly responded to requests and queries and went out of their way to make sure we had the best time. We really did. My two granddaughters and I stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed not having to move off site. We had fun on the tennis court and round and about the farm. The girls partularly loved the novelty of finding our way on to the Tarka Trail via the sheep field for easy cycling. We all loved being surrounded by picturesque countryside and the many ewes with their lambs. The indoor pool was amazing and especially great when the weather was not so good for being outside. With many pool toys available (and comfy seating) we all spent a lot of time here too. We relaxed and played games in the beautifully clean and comfortable accommodation and were genuinely sad to leave. The girls are already working on who they can persuade to take them again soon. 😁

Property was clean, access to the pool was great.

Heating hadn’t been turned on so when we arrived at 5pm with a 2 year old and 4 year old to a freezing cold cottage we were disappointed. It also took a long time to heat up! Kids were in the bedroom and me and my husband had the sofa bed a which as very uncomfortable ! Ended up sleeping on the floor the second night!
