The double bedroom has fully fitted wardrobes, beautiful original period fireplace. With designer wallpaper and curtains, it is the perfect place to relax after a busy day in London. The lounge has a double sofa bed, 40 inch wall mounted flat screen tv. with over 40 digital channels to choose from, plus radio. There is also dining for 4 people. The kitchen has fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher all intergrated, giving a sleek, modern finish. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils you will need to prepare your meals. Luxury bathroom has top quality shower. Outside there is a shared courtyard garden, with table and chairs. Somewhere to enjoy your breakfast or a drink. Outside space is something of a rarity in the heart of London. With so much on offer, guests will not be disappointed.

Great location for our first trip to London! Appreciate the information packet ahead of arrival. Easy to use the tube from the airport with the given instructions. Only suggestion would be to provide instructions on how to use the washing machine. It is quite different than what we use in the states, and takes much longer to wash a load than we are used to. But, we figured it out and were great full to have it.

We really liked Jan’s flat and found her very easy to communicate with. The washer and drying rack were very convenient. The only thing that would have made the stay better would have been an extra bath towel each (only allotted one towel each for a four day stay).

Location has a Pub next door that is extremely loud, Rent bike location out the front door. The only bedroom is on the street so the noise is horrible with the Pub, Bike pick up and drop off and it is in a shoddy part of the city.
The bedroom is the only room with heat. The weather was such that I wore my Down coat 3 of the four days I was there. None in the lounge that works. The owner Janet informed me that NO ONE has ever needed the one in the lounge. So the lounge, Kitchen and bath are not heated. She told me a couple of things I could do to try and get the radiator working in the lounge and nothing worked. She did not offer to have anyone come by and look at it. For the price she charges look elsewhere. She says the Underground is a 5 minute walk from the flat. It’s at least 1/2 mile. Closest shopping is even further.
If you do rent, make sure you bring bathing soap of some kind because she provides nothing in the bathroom except one hand towel and one bath towel. Her welcome package (haha) says if you use more than the one set left for you, you will be charged. However there was no worries, because there were no extras.
I forgot to mention, the huge rubbish bins are also right out side the bedroom window on the sidewalk next to the street.
Her ad sure fooled me.
