Good sized room, fairly well equipped - I appreciated the fan as it was incredibly hot in London during my stay. Kitchen was dated but functional, bathroom the same - not flashy but not terrible, and the shower had decent pressure

It wasn't dirty as such, but there were areas that needed attention - dust here and there, my bedsheet had a small blood stain, the kitchen area looks tired, the bathroom suite is the same. I've stayed in far worse, and for the money it's about what you'd expect. The listing is confusing as it says 'the whole apartment is yours' which isn't true - its a shared kitchen and bathroom. It is possible to book the whole place, but I didn't, I booked one room, and it still said the whole place was mine.

Bed and shower are always the most important things for me. Bed had a very comfy mattress with lovely soft sheets and light summer duvet. Plenty of hot water in shower with good water pressure. Location also important and this is very close to borough high street and near elephant and castle tube so only two stops into London Bridge. I had no problems finding it and the keys - very clear instructions. I also appreciated the usb plugs.

Yes it's a bit tatty and the flat is small outside the bedrooms, so I had laundry (sheets and towels) hanging in my room. There was a funny smell, but it didn't bother me after a few minutes.
