Everything about our stay was great. We arrived early and I texted the owner to see if we could check in early while in the ferry on a Sunday afternoon. She got right back to us letting us know if was fine. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was perfect for cooking during a pandemic, plenty of room and equipped very well. The back deck and yard were wonderful for early evenings in enjoying a few cocktails. The fire pit was the best for after dinner s’mores and conversations. The owner also gave us recommendations for beaches nearby which did not disappoint. The island was just the change of pace that we all needed having been couped up in our own houses for months. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Beautiful home. Clean, well equipped, and beautifully decorated. Owner was very helpful and was always quick to respond. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone traveling to the area.

Overall the house and grounds were very nice. I was disappointed with lack of clear detail on location and the difficulty in getting a car over to the Island. A car is really essential when staying here or even elsewhere on the island as there is a lot to see but its very spread out. It should be noted that booking a ferry with a car should be done several months in advance or even before you book your stay as this is non-refundable. The house is definitely off the "beaten path." ( It is off a very bumpy road, and the area was not very pristine). This house was the nicest on the block. House does not really come with bikes that you can use. You will need to rent bikes to tour the island or to get to the closet beach or town. And finally, the basement which has a pullout sofa and a futon was so musty from moisture that it really was not useable for sleeping.
