Located near Trieste Airport

Convenient location only 6 minutes from the Trieste airport which was nice before an early morning flight. The rooms were HUGE and all 3 had very nice bathrooms. Easy drive to get dinner with great recommendations from the owners. There was a wine tasting room attached to the property but it was closed the day we arrived. Ample free parking in the courtyard. Owners were very nice and easy to communicate with preparing for arrival. Peaceful residential area.

The WiFi from our room (closest to the road) was weak but other two rooms it worked fine.

House is situated in peaceful area,yet it is very close to Monfalcone center, shopping,beaches. The house with 3 rooms is beautiful,Italian countryside style. It's next to their Conte wineyard. The offer wine and plate with cheese and prosciutto- agritourism closes at 20.30,so it doesn't distrupt night sleep. Owner is very nice, helpfull,flexible,speaks english and prepares tasty breakfast (in price). Parking is in the courtyard,which is fenced,so there is no need to worry about it. Threre is very beautiful,old cedar tree in the courtyard. Will stay there again for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay at La Contessa. Signora Katia was really nice, professional and helpful with everything. The room was big, clean and pleasant, we also enjoyed breakfast and this lovely estate with winery. Would come back!

This place is a gem!

I chose La Contessa for its proximity to the airport which is easily accessible by bus. However i got a lot more than that. Quiteness, big bathroom, friendly staff and and a delicious breakfast. The artisanal prosciutto and ham is the best I have ever tasted! There's also a very reliable bus service to the coast at Duino amd Sistiana so I could easily fit in a swim and lunch before my afternoon flight.

A one night stop was enough to find a place to return to!

Enough and very varied breakfast! It is a special place, in the evening we could taste our own wines and they served us a small snack! We didn't have to go out to dinner anymore! The owners, Mrs. Fernanda and her son, were very friendly! We highly recommend this location!

A little gem!

Fresh newly renovated room with a classic air. Run by family in wine business. Every afternoon locals came for a glas. And so did we. Very nice and genuin atmosphere. Old Mama came to our table with spumante for a toast. We did only undestand each others smiles… Nice breakfast, very polite people! Bought some of their wine

Superb

First it is quite easy to find and there are safe parkinglots. The house is nicely renovated and is charming. The room is really superclean, the bed confortable and the bathroom spacious with a good shower with satisfying water pression. It was a nice stay for one night and we'd like to recommend for a longer stay too. Thank you!

Sehr gutes Frühstück in einem gemütlichen alten Teil des Palazzos, die Gastgeberin ist außerordentlich freundlich und lässt sich auch mit lästigen Fragen nicht aus der Ruhe bringen.

Mein Zimmer ging direkt auf die Straße und man konnte wegen des Autolärms nur bei geschlossenem Fenstern schlafen. Das alte schöne, toll restaurierte Haus liegt etwas abseits, aber dafür in einer netten Wohngegend.

Perfekt als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge (Triest, Aquileia etc.)

Unterkunft in einem alten aber schön renoviertem Haus .Wunderschönes geräumiges Zimmer und Badezimmer, Kombination vom alten und neuen sehr gelungen und alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Parkplätze im Areal des Anwesens (ausser 3 Gästezimmer und Esszimmer befindet sich daneben noch Weinlokal mit nettem Gastgarten und Weingeschäft und grossem Lager).

Leider dichtet die Zimmertür nicht (altes Gebäude und alte Tür) und so hört man Geräusche vom Gang.

nostalgija za lepim vremenima

Miris bakine kuće, kombinacija staromodnog i modernog, veoma prijatan i udoban smeštaj sa puno svetlosti čine boravak ovde potpuno opuštenim. Prostrano kupatilo je tek priča za sebe..Doručak je bio božanstven, veliki izbor slanih i slatkih peciva, jaja i razne slane i slatke đakonije. I sve to još dodatno pojačava činjenica da ovde imaju svoju vinariju pa je uživanje u čaši dobre malvazije kao trešnja na vrhu. Ako nas put ponovo navede ovuda nadamo se da će biti slobodnog mesta da ponovimo boravak ovde, tim pre što su domaćini izuzetno ljubazni i predusretljivi. Toplo preporučujem.

Sve je odlično, možda jedino buka sa ulice malo narušava mir ali ne utiče toliko na kompletan osećaj zadovoljstva.

Nette Kommunikation mit Vermieterin, früherer Check-in war möglich, absolut sauber, Frühstück i.O., Cappuccino und frische Eier lecker, sicheres Abstellen von Rädern vor Unterkunft im Garten möglich, Nähe zu Schlössern Duino und Miramare sowie Triest, Unterkunft liegt im Wohngebiet nahe Flughafen, relativ ruhig

Der Ort Monfalcone selbst ist nicht besonders sehenswert, ordentliche Radwege bis Triest gibt es nicht, also bleibt nur die Straße oder eben doch das Auto

Unterkunft mit Flair - haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, saubere Unterkunft mit tollem Frühstück. Besonders hat uns gefallen im gepflegte Garten zu sitzen und dort am Abend noch ein Glas Wein zu genießen.
