It was an amazing stay!

It was located in a beautiful location right next to the Tara bridge and river, right in the midst of the Durmitor National Park. The rooms very clean, and the host was very welcoming and helpful. They have a lot of information about things to do in the area, and very kindly offer to organize activities if guests want. There is also a restaurant, which also serves very nice food!

We enjoyed every moment there and for sure we will come again.

A wonderful place, surrounded by mountains, very peaceful, very quiet, very green, a place where we connected with nature and with our souls. Andjela, our host, made us felt very welcomed, she was always there for us with very useful information about the surroundings, the trails to hike, the places to visit, the activities to do and she also cooked for us delicious breakfasts and dinners, which we enjoyed in the garden, under the trees. The room was clean and equipped with everything you need. The several trails we hiked, started just nearby, and we enjoyed great views, pristine forests, a magical lake and the great Tara river.

Stunning location in the Tara Gorge sort of in the middle of nowhere! But heh, that’s EXACTLY why you’d book this place!! It’s pure unadulterated simplicity for those wanting a beautiful, peaceful, inspirational stay. “Central City” it is Not! Relaxing, stunning - it is! Do not hesitate to book with Andjela and her family and do NOT miss out a swim in the Tara river a 20 minute Beautiful walk through breathtaking nature (not suitable for infirm). It’ll take your breath away too….but in another way also!! Kind host.

A microwave oven would’ve been very handy.. PLEASE add a bedside lamp as the 2 ceiling lights are too strong when lying in bed…..

An amazing place!

We came late at night and Andjela welcomed us wonderfully! She was also very kind to offer us everything we needed, trying to help us with everything, and giving great recommendations! Nice quiet place close to the Terra river! We didn’t use the kitchen but it looks perfect and equipped

Very very very kind hosts! You can wash your laundry, big rooms with kitchen & a terrace Great view! .

There were a lot of insects in the rooms.. spiders, mosquitoes but you have to deal with that in the mountains.

Delightful hosts with a warm welcome. Beautiful and quiet. Very comfortable bed and good sized rooms. Loved the flyscreens on the windows so that I could have fresh air and listen to the birds and cow bells in the distance.

Perfect stay in the mountains, very welcome family.

Andjela and her family make you feel welcome and at home from the second you arrive. Even before, sending a welcome message with some practical information. The location is stunning, the apartment very roomy and comfy. I had the best sleep of my whole holiday in the Balkans at Montana because of the quiet and fresh mountain air and the good bed. For dinner, Andjela prepares a custom made meal just for you, and breakfast is plenty. And all of that for an unbeatable price. I highly recommend!

Great stay, would truly recommend

Staff was very kind, quick to response, helpful. She cooked us meal when we arrived, it was good. We had access to homemade bread and were able to buy fresh eggs. Very clean and super peaceful.

No storage in the kitchen for grocery but it’s just a tiny detail.

The apartment is super well located close to the Tara river. There are some walks around easily reachable. The apartment is huge, very well furnished, very comfortable. We had an amazing time despite a rainy weather. We were warmly welcomed. A great gem in the Tara canyon !

Very comfortable cottage with breathtaking mountain views in the middle of nature

One of the best accommodations in Montenegro, if you want to be in the middle of nature and appreciate peace and quiet! We had a warm welcome from Bojan and the cottage is just perfect - breathtaking mountain views, terrace, kitchen equipped with everything. It was extremely clean andcomfortable and even the warm shower was excellent after a long hiking day. Bonus is the small Dobrilovina monastery visit, just 400m away. Highly recommend and we hope to be back!

Lovely stay 😊

Beautiful, really peaceful accommodation. We really enjoyed our stay in Avila Montana and can recommend the stay for anyone who wants a laidback stay in Durmitor National park. The Appartment is perfectly equipped with a kitchen with everything you need. The bathroom is really nice with hot water. The Wi-Fi is super strong, we could even watch Netflix. Really Cody appartment. Super nice Hosts as well. Price-value relation is unbeatable. You can go rafting in 10 minutes away and zip lining in 20 minutes. Landscape is just beautiful.

Nothing to dislike, just come prepared. The next supermarket is 1h away by car. (~50 minutes). Pack groceries before you come.

During our trip from Belgrade to Kotor, we spent one night at this wonderful location nestled in the valley, offering breathtaking views. The top-floor apartment was clean, equipped with basic cooking facilities. Bringing our own food and drinks turned out to be a good decision, as there were limited options around. The host was very helpful, providing information about various hikes in the area, and we were thrilled with the hike leading to the river in the valley. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

The fresh air of a remote location, close to Tara bridge (20 km), the peace of place, the food cooked by the locals, the fact that the room was cold after a hot day, great apartment, great view and many things to do in nature in proximity. Perfect for relaxing!

The proximity of the grocery shop (20kms), the fact that it was "dangerous" with the open windows due to lack of mosquito net (this is an aspect that will be fixed soon as we understand)

2 friends on bikes

Secluded little cottage surrounded with mountains, which look really great from the windows. Apartment is brand new, we are 2 bikers and got a big living room, bathroom and a bedroom upstairs.

Which looks great at first (remote location) can also be a problem when you would like to have dinner as the only restaurant was closed when we were there.

If you want peace in the middle of the nature this is the place. We felt like in heaven and everything was just perfect. It is very close to the road but at night there is no traffic and even during the day just a few cars are passing by.
