The apartment is in a great central location, just a short walk from both the beach and the nightlife. Despite being so close to the lively area, it stays surprisingly quiet at night, making it easy to sleep. The bed was comfortable, and the Nespresso machine was a big plus for us as coffee lovers. Check-in was smooth, and the hosts were friendly and helpful.

However, there are a few things to keep in mind. The apartment is on the 6th floor with around 90 steps to climb and no elevator, so it’s fine if you’re fit, but it may not be suitable for everyone. Being on the top floor also makes it very hot during the summer. Air conditioning is available, but it comes at an extra cost of about €20 for a 5-day stay. Without it, staying here during the hottest months would be quite uncomfortable.

Wow, what a wonderful opportunity to stay in a unique historic place. Being so close to the beach was amazing too. The housekeeper was extremely kind and flexible with our arrival. It was difficult to get to the rental at a predictable time because our son got car sick and then we had to park some distance away. I appreciated so much that she waited for us on such a hot day to give us the keys and show us the place. We also appreciated the air conditioning very much in the hot weather, not sure we could have slept without it!

Absolutely not the rental's fault that arriving by car is challenging. I appreciated the tips for finding parking. No regrets, worth the parking fee and sweat lugging ourselves and luggage from the extended parking at the grocery and then up and down all those crazy stairs.

Perfect location between Harbour and esplanade. Balcony gives a partial view over each, but not directly out to water because of a roof in front. Cute decor and nicely appointed living space. Revello bakery in front is iconic and excellent.

As far as possible from potential parking and several long flights of stairs. Stairs up to suite are really challenging with suitcases and narrow. Light in bedroom had some current even when “off” so never shut off plus blinds/curtains aren’t very effective if you are sensitive to light when trying to sleep. Perilous few angled steps up to corner shower. Booked partially because internet was supposed to be superb and we had an important board meeting, so of course it was down that day. Couldn’t connect though we kept trying and cell signal kept dropping so couldn’t tether to cellular either. But it was adequate for rest of our stay. Washing machine stuck even with the instructions given, but got it open eventually thanks to googling further suggestions.

Beautiful apartment with a good view. There are many steps up to the apartment so it is not recommended to people who doesn’t walk well. Furthermore there was not parking area close to the apartment. The aircondition didn’t work so it was extremely hot in the apartment. But it is close to the center and sea which was really nice.
