the sea at home

The view from my windows of the beach (actual view on the promotion) was out of this world. I loved having breakfast looking out at the beach, basilica, and easy access to sunsets, shops and the ferry. This villa was all it was promoted as, a very comfortable space to enjoy my stay. The location was great to take further excursions from. The owner and his staff were responsive and helped me with orientation which was very easy with their help. I wanted a quiet place to stay far from foreign tourists (I am one) and this stay was perfect.

I really have see that could be improved on.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Da wir mit dem Auto kamen, mussten wir 2x den genauen Zeitpunkt der Ankunft verschieben, trotzdem lief alles Bestens ab. Eva und ihr Mann waren sehr lieb und freundlich und hilfreich. Der Ort ist ganz besonders und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Appartement hat uns voll begeistert. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr gemütlich, mitten im Ort und in erster Reihe zum Meer. Durch die französischen Balkone hat man einen wunderschönen Ausblick. Der Urlaub dort war wunderschön und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Fantastiskt läge. Fin lägenhet som har det mesta man behöver. Jättetrevlig värdinna.

Jag skulle inte rekommendera fler än 2 i detta boende. Bäddsoffan var stenhård och lutade i huvudändan. Om den byts ut blir det 10 av 10. Trapporna är utmanande eftersom de är väldigt branta och trånga. Inget problem för oss men viktigt att veta om man har svårt att gå eller bära.

Great location if you don’t have a car.

Parking was a challenge, free parking was a 20 minute walk. Not ideal for 3 adults as pull out couch very uncomfortable as was the double bed. Constant issues with air-conditioning and hot water which made for some unpleasant showers. Would be great if hostess (although lovely) could speak English or an English manual made available to explain using equipment. Owner did apologise and kindly provided some free pizza but given the cost of the accommodation it did leave us feeling a bit disappointed and impacted on the enjoyment of our stay.
