Ocean Views and Beach Access
Enjoy miles of wide, uncrowded beach for walking, playing and watching the surf. Beach access is about a 5-minute walk through the quiet neighborhood, or you can drive approximately 1/3 mile to private beach access. The large ocean-facing deck is a favorite place for sunsets, whale watching and relaxing above the coastline.

The home has 6 bedrooms and 5½ baths, making it especially comfortable for families and small groups. Multiple living areas give guests space to be together without feeling crowded. The primary bedroom includes a private soaking tub, a relaxing place to unwind after a day at the beach.

Quiet South Beach Location
The home is in a quiet, friendly residential neighborhood with very little traffic or noise. Newport attractions are nearby, including the Oregon Coast Aquarium, Bayfront and marina, restaurants, shopping, art galleries, recreation, fishing and crabbing excursions.

Important House Details
Maximum occupancy is 10 guests at all times, including children. Parking is limited to 3 vehicles, with no street parking. We value our quiet neighborhood and ask guests to be considerate of our neighbors. One exterior security camera faces only the driveway and is used for security purposes.

Each summer we take a vacation with our adult children and grandson. The collective judgment was that this was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at. The house was spacious with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our entire group. The view out the front windows overlooking the ocean was a true “ooh ah” moment. We took the trail to the beach several times as well as driving 1/3 mile on the paved road down to the beach. The area has a number of very nice restaurants that we enjoyed throughout the week. I would highly recommend Georgie’s. Their salmon covered in a Marion berry barbeque sauce was delicious. Very easy access to outdoor hiking at Cape Perpetua.

This is a place where all the superlatives work, exceptional, outstanding, wonderful!! The ocean views are expansive and the location on a cliff is both private but close to everything in Newport. The home is comfortable for a large group and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with almost every kind of resource/tool you might need for whatever you are preparing. Access to the beach either by the path located nearby or the slightly longer walk to beach access was easy, although those with any mobility concerns should only take the walk along the road to the beach. Contact with the host was easy and any questions were answered quickly. Everyone (adults and teenagers) in our party would like to return soon!

Wow! This place was perfect for our extended family. Six adults, two teens, and a very active three year old all felt like this was the perfect home! Beautiful view and open floor plan made it comfortable for all of us. When the sun shone we enjoyed the gorgeous wrap around porch and views and when there were showers here and there we got to enjoy the view from inside the warm and cozy room with a view like none other. In the evenings we watched the boats on the water and enjoyed every sunset together as a family. With so many places inside to gather as a family for meals or in the gorgeous kitchen we were able to cook and eat as a family. Just a short drive to town we could get all we needed in a few minutes and all the essentials were already here. The layout of bathrooms and separate bedroom areas made for privacy and comfort for all the families. There is an additional beautiful space upstairs over the garage but there were so many beds inside we didn’t even need to use that extra room. The house was exceptionally clean and well kept and the beds were so comfortable and extra linens were available. Great water pressure, quiet neighborhood, and honestly the best vacation home we have ever stayed in. Also the hosts were great about communicating when we had a question and the check in / check out process was easy too. This was the perfect home, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful views & lovely family home with us. We are already planning for next time!
