magnificent modern house, with great gardens/swimming pool. internal design was a feast for the eyes.
our 'family' room inclduded two bunk beds which took up the space where otherwise there would have been a decent wardrobe and dresser etc. we had to lay our clothes out on the bunks!

The breakfast was outstanding. Carlos is an excellent host and staying at Casa Laranja felt like visiting a favorite uncle. His property is exceptional - the private, verdant garden setting, the exquisitely furnished home, the privacy of each of the four suites. It was a welcome respite from the generally smaller room accommodations we experienced in most of our other stays in Portugal.
We thought the location was excellent, if one had a car. Without your own transportation, you would need to rely on Ubers which can get pricey.

The house, the pool and the wonderful breakfast. Carlos and his wife made us feel very welcome and my young children loved it as much as we did.
When travelling with a family a small fridge in the room is always helpful.
