A stunning location by the sea. The hotel is nice but make no mistake, you’re paying for the pool and the view here. Service was patchy, the staff member who welcomed me when I arrived was excellent but got pretty much ignored when arriving at breakfast on the first morning. Turndown service with cookies is a nice touch, but the hotel doesn’t feel 5 star. No gym even though the description says they have a fitness centre. A little out of the town so not ideal if travelling solo and walking back after dark as it’s not well lit all the way. Overall, not worth the price I paid for a fairly nice room with a view of the car park / road. Also noisy with other guests having a loud long conversation outside my room late at night which would have been audible at reception too. View 10/10, Location 7/10, Service 6/10, Breakfast 5/10. Overall disappointing for the money. Book it for the view - which really is something - but lower your expectations for the hotel itself.

We were very disappointed with this hotel. It needs a serious revamp and refurbishment. The setting is beautiful and the location is good.
Breakfast was only OK. When we were seated on the first morning we were shown a menu where we could order fresh eggs from it. When we asked to order poached eggs we were told these were available from the buffet, this happened on 2 mornings with 2 different staff members. Both made a big deal about us asking to order from the menu. Also, you have to make your own coffee from a coffee machine.
The hotel in general is tired, particularly the pool area.
There is nothing luxurious or 5 star about the hotel and it was overall a very disappointing stay. There are nicer hotels for a similar price in Caiscais.

Trying to find something negative about this stay is pretty much impossible. The only things I would be able to describe would be nick picky and not worth the time. The hotel location was great, the staff super friendly and accommodating, the facilities and breakfast were amazing, I would definitely stay here again and it is worth the price.

Great location close to the shops and restaurants in the marina, short walk to the town centre also. The pool area is fantastic, staff are great and the rooms get discounts and comfortable. We’ll be back
