Villa with Private Pool & Lake View near Motovun, Casa Mille Olivi Heritage

Amazing views and a big pool (not heated).

There is a significant discrepancy between the description of the property and the reality. First of all, this is not a 5* property in any way, it’s a solid 4* at the best. The space with the large windows and views (as provided on the property’s photos) is practically not usable as it is unbearably hot during the day, even when it is just 22-23 degrees outside - it is not air conditioned at all, the windows are fixed and there is even an outside aircon unit in it!? Furthermore, you enter into this space through the 4 sqm toilet (with a plastic curtain in the shower), which connect it with a rest of the house… cannot be 5* obviously. Without this space in glass (which is unusable), you end up in an old (19th century) modest house with almost no windows and views. The house itself (and the resting area next to the pool) sits right below the electrical distribution network - not a pleasent sight and feeling. All in all, this was a first time that I took property with just a few reviews and it turned out as a mistake - the reviews are so important so we can get a fair, objective, two sided view, which alow as to make informed choices.

The house ist beautifully decorated and cozy. The infinity pool is the highlight, of course. And it's at least as big as it looks in the photos. The hostess, Ana, is very friendly, welcoming and a wonderful example of Croatian hospitality. Thanks so much, Ana!

Absolutely nothing!

Excellent place for people loving nature, amazing view, very quiet area. My husband and myself were running every day 12 km on the road without meeting anybody:) Owners are very accommodative and pleasant.

The house is really perfect for 2 people max because of 1 bathroom and only one room.
