Great location with comfortable rooms and excellent value, but staff supervision is an issue.

Location was superb Parking was an issue but got issue resolved. Food of good taste and value, when it was eventually delivered. Pricing of beverages was excellent.

There should be Staff designated to Customers that were checking in, bar staff were doing two jobs, attending bar and checking in Customers, not good enough too much of a delay. There were young staff conversing and joking around with each other at a food serving area, with lack of regard to Customers who required attention, and no sign of any supervision.

Wetherspoons Swords Hotel fabulous

The breakfast at Wetherspoons in Swords was fabulous value for both of us. One large brekkie, one traditional brekkie plus All Day coffee for not much more than 13 euros. Excellent value. Our bedroom was fantastic and we thank for allocating that room 103 to us.

There was nothing about our stay in The Old Borough Hotel that we could complain about. Overall, our stay was great and we will return again in the future.

Overall, I liked my accommodations. The room was cozy but spacious and felt very comfortable

I loved the traditional feel, the cheap restaurant food, free coffee, the room size and view, and the location.

My room had a strange smell throughout the duration of my stay, the wi-fi was not working at any point, and the soap dispenser in the bathroom didn’t work.

The hotel is right next to a nightclub so you can hear the music loudly until 2:30am. The staff are very rude.

Dedicated parking for guests would have been good. The only issue was getting the air conditioning and roof vent sorted out. An elevator would help with luggage but understand this is not always possible

Warm and welcoming.

Unfortunately, we had to leave early for the airport. The Hotel was very convenient for the airport. Fortunately, we could park are car at a friend's place and get a lift to the Hotel. Otherwise, I think we would have found parking a bit stressful, depending on the time of one's arrival.

It’s close to the airport and lots of restaurants. We didn’t eat at their restaurant. The room was clean and quiet but had no window or way to get out. It was a bit disconcerting. It’s an old hotel so has quirky old things around.

Close to the airport (which was the main reason we booked this hotel)

Room had no windows, it was only lighted by a skylight that could not be opened, resulting in lack of fresh air; very little parking space for the hotel (parking in Swords costs €12 for the night) Hint: Do not believe the sign in the parking space, when you stay overnight you can get a parking permission for free at the reception

Great choice in hotel quality and location.

Classic older European-style smaller hotel. Rooms were nicely remodeled, clean, and comfortable. Large bar and restaurant on the ground floor. In the heart of the town and there was a long park nearby for running.

Despite my room being nice, it didn't have a window. Only a skylight. In the US, that would be considered a fire safety hazard.

Lovely rooms clean and tidy. We got adjoining rooms which was great. Most the staff a amazing too

The room keys didn’t always work so we have to keep getting them recharged which was a little annoying. We asked for a taxi to be order for 3.30am to the airport which the lady forgot to do however the gentleman who was working that night sorted us one out straight away
