About this bed and breakfast
Enjoy the tranquility and the spectacular view of the Cardigan River.
Relax on the spacious private deck with a stunning water view while enjoying our beautiful Island sunsets and daily eagle sightings. This suite, Morley Marina Loft suite, was named after our grandson, so we choose soothing and relaxing styles and colours to enhance your stay with us.
The suite, sleeps up to 4 guests (luxurious king bed with large walk in closet and a cozy double pull-out couch).
Luxurious four piece bathroom including a large soaker tub. Front load washer and dryer for our guests convenience.
The high end kitchen includes full size fridge, dishwasher, wall oven and glass cook top situated in a very large island.
The suite includes outdoor cooking amenities for those warm evenings a BBQ is a nice option. Also, check our our website at for a view of our two other suites.
Our vacation destination is a perfect place for a romantic getaway or a family vacation. Your own private oasis includes, walks along beach while you gather seashells and other treasures from the sea, biking and/or walking the Confederation Trail, canoeing, fishing off of the wharf, dining at popular restaurants, check out Pub 1888, shop our local liquor store and then pick up your snack at our two convenience centres, drop by the Village’s Heritage Centre to learn about our ship building history, enjoy our locally grown Farmer’s Market products, explore the green space parks, and don’t forget to browse through Canada’s smallest library - all in the heart of our little village.
Eastern PEI also prides itself on the multitude of talented local artist and we showcasing that talent through festivals and caleighs throughout the summer in various venues. We do offer our guests a peaceful boat tour either at sunset or an afternoon of exploring our calm and picturesque waterways.
If you want to visit our neighbouring communities, you don’t have a long car ride as we are only 8 km from Montague, and 7 km from Georgetown with its popular Play House which showcases several acts each week, 5 km to 2 World class 18 hole golf courses - Brudenell and Dunderave, 30 km to Newman Estate Winery for a tour of their grounds. And, we are approximately 40 km to the heart of PEI’s largest city of Charlottetown.

Absolutely lovely place with the best of PEI right at your doorstep. Perfect, quiet place for two with all the amenities--both indoors and out.

It was perfect. Beautiful place, scenery, people, places to visit, and our wonderful boat ride with the owners Cathy and Jim. Lots of good restaurants also. Deanna & Ed

We hate to write this review as we know that next year they will be fully booked! However, in the many years we have used VRBO this by far was a fabulous spot! First it sits across the road from a beautiful river leading to the ocean on a wonderful island with the most thoughtful and friendliest people we have yet to meet! The hostess and host went above and beyond the call of duty that anyone could reasonably expect. They are well rooted and connected in the community so if you want or need anything they can produce it though thin air!! We stayed above the garage in a 1000 plus foot one bedroom suite with a great king bed and a pull out couch if necessary. Everything you might want was ready, waiting in perfect condition. Ample towels etc. even beach towels. This comes with a private deck/porch with lovely flowers etc. The whole place looks like a designer came in and waved a magic wand but yet it still remains comfortable. It has a full kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave and large refrigerator. In the bathroom there is a great tub, seperate shower and nice washer and dryer. There are at least 50 thoughtful little touches like a flashlight in the bedside table, playing cards, two flat screen TV’s and the list goes on. The village of Cardigan is charming with two stores, a resturant and pub near Poole’s Corner which has regular entertainment in the summer time and other times of the year. It is an easy shot to larger towns with great paved roads. If you stay for a certain length of time they may take you out on their fishing boat for a evening ride and steamed mussels. They also have two other suites that can be rented if you are with your family. One final comment... the hosts are thoughtful and very caring people. Salt of the earth and ones who help the experience of PEI live in your memories forever. A plus plus for this deal!Rolanda and Brian
